Me and my boyfriend had a great time. It was our first time there and I want to bring my girls back for a taste. The staff was very attentive and the music was on point. Not to many different types of places to go to in the bronx. This is a spot to check. its a change of vibes I enjoy the food, and the drinks. I ordered the 90 min unlimited drinks for a low price and got my money’s worth.
They do birthdays and special events, the even have taco Tuesdays. Great happy hour menu. It was a great getaway from a long day at work. The music was dance worthy, sucks there was no dance floor.
The food was so on point, I had ordered the birria quesadilla and the Mac and cheese birria. Both were on point. I thought the Mac n cheese would have bits of birria but the flavor was just as good.
So full, if your in the area give them a check out. sit in and see what they have to offer. I will be back for sure.

This place is an absolute must-try !!! Don’t be surprised if it becomes your new weekend spot. I’d been wanting to check out LavieMex for a while, and it completely won me over with the food, the ambiance, and the overall service. Every dish was made with so much love and absolute perfection. Even when I was full, I couldn’t resist taking another bite. It genuinely felt like I was being served a Spanish grandma’s treasured old recipe.
If you love Spanish food, great music, and a safe space filled with amazing vibes, this is the place. Huge shoutout to the owner—10/10 all around! ✨

This spot has changed hands a few times over the years, so I decided to stop in on a Saturday evening . It was after brunch but before the dinner crowd. I was surprised it wasn’t busier, but it may have just been the timing.
The atmosphere was really nice. They opened up the space beautifully compared to the previous ownership, and the music was a good mix of 90s and newer music. Our waiter came over quickly for drink orders, and the drinks arrived fast and tasted great.
The food was outstanding. We had the wings, shrimp quesadilla, salmon, and chicken fajitas. Everything was a 10/10.
Downside: The music was loud. Like uncomfortably loud. Maybe we were seated near a speaker, but 7pm in an almost empty restaurant, it felt excessive. I could barely hear my own thoughts.

First off the negative reviews on this place…are a lie!!!!!! This was me and my cousins first time coming here…the place is great…very nice inside good vibes…we got seated right away. The service was great they kept checking on us to make sure we were good for food and drinks. The drinks were delicious I had the blue lemon drop!!! Perfect!!! The food also delicious the appetizers and the quesadilla…I have to shout out the DJ he made the night playing nothing but the best. I cant wait to go back def our new spot!!! Perfect balance of bougie and fun..

The staff here were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. I had a steak mac & cheese and the birria arepitas, both delicious options. The DJ played excellent Music, engaging the tables in the restaurant. Try the mocktails if youre not drinking. I had the raspberry lychee. 10/10

I had reservations to celebrate my birthday with my family on Saturday, January 24th. I had the pleasure of dealing with Milly who was by the way phenomenal. She greeted me and my family with superb hospitality. We sat down and enjoyed some drinks & food. Which by the way was amazingly delicious. The music was great and was a vibe. The entire place (staff) were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back and experience this location! 10 out of 10

This restaurant has a good vibe and the music is amazing. I went to a work event here and ended up having an amazing time. The nachos, wing and quesadilla were so good. And happy hour is until 7 and all day Thursdays. Millie our waitress was friendly and energetic! I recommend.

I pulled up to Lavi Mex in The Bronx, and let me tell you it’s giving party and flavor all in one spot. The margaritas were strong but smooth, the kind that sneak up on you mid-bite. The mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely disrespectful in the best way. The salmon and Smash Burger were both packed with flavor and cooked perfectly no notes! If you’re looking for a cute, upscale vibe with great food, good music, and even better energy, Lavi Mex is the move.

I want to start off by saying this place has turned into my favorite place to go to. I went here blind with my bestfriend. And honestly I’ve come here like 7 times already. From the music to the food to the service. I can’t stress enough how amazing of a place this is. The owner is such a vibe. She legit listens to all her customers and makes adjustments to her menu. Like whatttt????? That’s so freshhhhhh. I love it here. The music, the vibe, the food. Girl whatttt… lol . And let me tell you, JALAPEÑO, is an amazing waiter/employee. He’s so patient and delivers above exceptional service. I will continue to come here and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, it’s a hidden gem I would say. Thank you for always making my visit so awesome.

Before we went, I had my friend call to ask if reservations were required, and we were told NO—just come in and we could be seated anywhere. FOR ONE WHEN WE CAME THEY SAID TO USE BACKDOOR WE COULDN’T EVEN FIND IT . Random man had to show us where to go …Anyways A waiter seated us at a nice table where we were very comfortable. Then the owner came over and moved us, saying we couldn’t sit there because we didn’t have reservations… mind you, we were told we did NOT need one.
Fine—we moved. They then seated us at a very small, uncomfortable table. I told another staff member how uncomfortable it was; he informed the owner, and she came over saying that if we wanted to sit there, we had to purchase three bottles. There were only two of us, which was absolutely ridiculous.
We then asked to be seated at another small table away from everyone since it was getting crowded. The staff member said yes—then the owner suddenly said that table was booked too. Like wow.
Once again, we were told reservations were NOT required.
Then we waited forever for our food. I ordered the salmon, and when it finally came out, there was a hair in it.
The staff overall were nice, but the owner was disgusting and clearly does not know how to run a business. Drinks were nasty, the experience was awful, and everything about this place was terrible.
NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT GO HERE.
