Update after management response:
——————————
Dear Lavie Garden Management,
Thank you for your detailed response. I would like to clearly and firmly state that my review was written strictly as a customer, based solely on my personal experience during my visit. Any assumption beyond that—especially linking it to rivalry, brand building, or personal sentiment—is both inaccurate and unnecessary.
Online reviews exist to reflect individual dining experiences, not to validate internal certifications, average sales numbers, or standardized procedures. While your explanations regarding HACCP certification, food safety workshops, and recipe cards are noted, they do not negate the possibility of inconsistency on a given day or during a specific service. A customer’s experience is judged by what is served on their plate at that moment—not by what usually performs well or sells in volume.
To be very clear: my intention was not to harm your brand. If that were the case, I could have highlighted multiple shortcomings or left repeated negative feedback. I consciously chose not to do so and limited my review only to what I personally experienced. That decision itself reflects restraint and fairness, not negativity.
I also find it important to point out that customers are under no obligation to privately contact management before posting a review. Public reviews are a legitimate and widely accepted form of feedback. Suggesting otherwise, or framing a genuine customer experience as something driven by rivalry, shifts responsibility away from reflection and onto assumption.
I stand by my review as an honest account of my visit. At the same time, I genuinely hope that feedback—positive or critical—is received in the spirit it is given: as an opportunity to improve and maintain trust with diners.
Regards,
Prativ
Atmosphere/vibe is also good….
