We visited Lavash Mediterranean while coming to the mall with our family, and it turned into a truly wonderful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and high-end. The restaurant is super clean, smells great, and has a very relaxing atmosphere with nice background music. Honestly, it reminded me of dining in a 4–5 star hotel.

We ordered the kobideh and filet mignon kabob, and both were absolutely amazing. The meat was super juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic Persian flavor. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite. All the food is halal, which we really appreciated.

They also served freshly baked bread that they make themselves, along with a complimentary salad, which was a very nice touch and made the meal even better.

The service was excellent — friendly, polite, and attentive without being overwhelming. They also offer outdoor seating, which is a great option if you want to enjoy your meal outside.

Overall, everything about this place was top-notch: food, cleanliness, atmosphere, and service. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Persian/Mediterranean food in Livermore — especially while visiting the mall — Lavash Mediterranean is a must-try. We will definitely be coming back again!

It’s a nice, casual restaurant. I liked their lamb shank and koobideh. Pasta was just ok. Maybe one down side was the menu doesn’t clearly explain the ingredients.

Had the Koobideh and Soltani kabobs with the Zereshk Polo with chicken; everything was fresh, nicely seasoned, and really satisfying. The kabobs were tender, and the Zereshk Polo had that perfect sweet-tart pop from the barberries with fluffy saffron rice. Delicious experience, can’t wait to come back.

First time here while celebrating Father’s Day. Had the combo appetizer platter and the Lavash platter for two. Both tasted really good. Their food could easily compete with anyone in San Francisco. Excellent service and ample free parking. Interior is modern and is suited for business meetings and family gatherings. Will come back again.

Very good food and nice, quick service. The restaurant is beautiful as well. We had the combination platter for appetizer, great for sharing and lots of variety. The moussaka and gyros were also very good. The restaurant itself is also very pretty. Plenty of parking in the lot in front of the restaurant.

The Lavash team hosted a private event for over 60 of our guests, and they were simply incredible. Every detail—from the food to the service—was flawless.

The khoresht ghameh bademjan was to die for, the baghali polo with lamb shank was hands-down one of the best our guests had ever tasted, and the kabobs were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The array of appetizers kept everyone delighted—each one better than the last. One guest told me the hummus was the best he’s had in 30 years, while others couldn’t get enough of the dolmeh and the fresh, vibrant house salad.

The service team was exceptional—warm, attentive, and smiling the entire evening. They treated our guests as if they were welcoming them into their own home.

A huge thank you to Ali, the owner and head chef, who personally oversaw the evening. He surprised us with delightful extras—like kabob hors d’oeuvres and baklava that everyone raved about.

The restaurant itself is beautifully designed—modern, elegant, and perfect for private functions or celebrations.

I would host another event at Lavash with Ali and his amazing team in a heartbeat. They made our evening elegant, effortless, and truly unforgettable.

Thank you again to Ali and the entire service team—you turned our gathering into a very special memory.

Made dinner reservation for 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. Took about 10-15 minutes to get seated, which was already a red flag because they didn’t have the table ready. I was still waiting for my food at 8:30 PM, restaurant closes at 9:00 PM by the way. Server moved chairs from one side of the restaurant to another and bumped my shoulder with a chair arm. They didn’t provide any update about the food, so I asked the server about it. He brought out the appetizer after a few moments which they could have brought out earlier. They didn’t refill the water, had to ask another server for more water. When they finally brough the appetizer (babaganoush, tabbouleh and lavash), they only provided 1 spoon – how do you not even provide silverware? Other people that got there at the same time or after me got their food first, or at least their appetizer. At 8:50 PM, or 1 hour and 20 minutes after my reservation start time, I told another server that the food wait time was unreasonably long and not OK, and that I was going to leave. She apologized. I ended up getting tacos from a Mexican taco truck. I can understand being super busy, but this was really bad communication, and no consideration for the small things.

Lavash was a great find, hidden in a sea of reastaurants that have popped up near the outlet mall. The problem I’ve found with other mediterranean restaurants is that they’re over priced and poor food quality – Lavash offers a much needed change to this, their food is delicious and affordable. Their staff if friendly and attentive, they don’t rush you to leave, and are accomodating to your requests. I’ll be eating here again and again.

Amazing Persian-Mediterranean food. Took my wife there for Mother’s Day and she was initially hesitant to go there because she loves fancy decor and ambience, which wasn’t there. The gentleman who looked either like the head chef or the owner of the place really convinced her to try the food and promised he wouldn’t charge us if we didn’t like it. We absolutely LOVED the food and their service is just fantastic. Gives a homely feeling. They also may have a buffet lunch offering but they were wrapping it up when we got there. Mouthwatering Lavash bread, hummus, kababs, even the salad was superb! The only thing that wasn’t to my liking (and maybe it’s the Persian way of making my favorite Mediterranean dish) was the Babaganoush (mashed eggplant). Unbelievably, they made a mean PASTA (I know it’s weird to order a pasta in this place, but my daughter doesn’t like Mediterranean) that would compete with an Italian restaurant. All in all, a successful Mother’s Day lunch.
