A must try all.Visit this quaint yet lovable family bar and restaurant for Asian dishes.
From the moment we entered, we were impressed. The restaurant is impeccably clean, the staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food itself was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions. What truly sets Lava apart, however, is the addition of Hibachi options on their all-you-can-eat menu—a thoughtful touch for those who aren’t solely interested in sushi. Whether you’re dining with someone who doesn’t eat fish or simply crave the grilled flavors of Hibachi, this menu offers something for everyone.
Personally, I enjoy ordering a variety of sashimi, classic rolls, and specialty rolls (the rainbow rolls are a favorite), but now I can also indulge in Hibachi steak and shrimp, paired with fried rice and vegetables, an ideal balance to satisfy diverse tastes. The Hibachi shrimp is always seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection.
The service is outstanding as well. Nora and Jason have become familiar faces, always greeting us with warmth and attentiveness. It’s clear that Lava values its customers, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience. Whether you’re looking for a traditional Hibachi experience or a laid-back meal with a group, Lava offers both. This has now become my go-to destination for any sushi or Hibachi cravings. Thank you, Lava!
They were on top of getting drinks when we needed, they give you water automaticly and kept them filed.
All you can eat hibachi and sushi, but they also have hibachi were they cook in fount of you.
If you’re picky and only like deep fried sushi they only have one roll that is very basic with crab meet and cream cheese.
They kept missing out food, giving us other orders we didn’t request, and were waiting for more than an hour to be served from 4:30pm and was stuck until almost 8pm. We tried to ask where our food was countless times and we got barely any of our food. Our tab was huge of “what we ordered” but we were only served once, when we ordered rounds of food. We left hungry and waiting for no reason. The didn’t offer any compensation for having us wait while everyone who came after us got all they food they ordered while we waited over an hour. Then they told us that we reached 2 hours and can’t be served yet we waited just as long to get the bare minimum of food. What a let down. And telling us we were in the wrong is wild when we’re the ones who patiently waited for more than an hour. We always tip BIG wherever we go and we did not tip. It was awful, we ended up getting dinner at home bc it just felt like a waste of 70$.
Lesson learned.
Never again.
