We came here because they weren’t ready to seat people for the 4 pm Thanksgiving seating. Nice lounge and the ladies working were quite pleasant and accommodating. Small but decent bourbon offerings. If I remember correctly their top shelf was Whistle Pig. Had a small tap selection of local craft offerings. Multiple TVs. Great views and we saw multiple deer from the picturesque windows.

We were originally going to the hickory restaurant but it was closed so we ended up here. Service was great and everyone liked their meal! We also enjoyed the wine. Would come back again!

Even during the off season the staff was overwhelmed and the food took over an hour to arrive. We spent most of the time looking at the other customers sitting and waiting for their food to arrive.

Was pretty disappointed with my visit here. I payed for a pizza and mozzarella sticks. I gave the server 2 $20 bills, and tipped her $10, and got back some change. I was told it would take about 20 minutes to cook so I took a stroll and came back. I waited about 30 minutes total and was told the kitchen “lost” my order. They remade the food and brought out a pizza. I asked about the mozzarella sticks and I was told by the server that she didn’t ring it up. So Im thinking, why was my order $30?! My pizza also had peppers on it, when I only ordered pepperoni.

Stopped in for some beer and ice cream, don’t judge! Kearsten was our server and she was wonderful, friendly and a real pleasure.
I didn’t have any food therefore I couldn’t fully rate the restaurant but wanted to give a shout out to Kearsten who was really working her butt off.

It’s really no wonder the reviews are so poor. We sat here for 30 minutes. Finally got minutes. The waitress said “hi” and left.

We got here at 7pm, ordered an appetizer, drinks, and dinner. We received an appetizer and drinks (never refilled). After an hour of waiting we asked about our meals – they looked confused and just said it was busy. We tried being understanding, but after 2 hours we inquired again. They had never put our order in for dinner!!!! Now, there is no where else to go because it is too late and we still haven’t eaten. For our trouble they removed the appetizer from our bill. That is it. Avoid this place.

My wife and I came in for dinner at 7PM. We sat ourselves at an empty table and waited until 7:30 PM before leaving. We were never brought a menu or even spoken to by staff. We watched as several other tables were brought menus and served. We were completely ignored as we put our coats on and left without being served. It was the first and list time at Canaan Valley resort for us. I have never been completely ignored in a restaurant like this before.

For bar food at a resort, it was pretty good. Beers were local which I really liked. The burger was fresh and very tasty. The fries were good as well, as well as the soft pretzel. The cheese dip sauce was fresh.
