Stuffed turkey wings so tender they barely held together.
Rice & gravy doing what rice & gravy does best.
Mac & cheese on point. Corn maque choux hitting just right.
Hamburger steak? Smothered.
Red beans? Comfort in a scoop.
And to close it out, pecan caramel biscotti cheesecake.
Everything was just darn good. Like wow wow!

The stuffed turkey wing was tender, packed with flavor, and seasoned just right, and that pork steak? FALL-APART, soul-food perfection
Amazing service, super clean restaurant, and portions that do not play.
The only downside? The 4 hour drive home on a food-coma level full belly ❤️

Five stars all around. This place has heart. Staff was kind and attentive. Come hungry, the portion sizes are generous. I felt like I was at a community gathering and offered a plate. It has a comfortable/homestyle feel. I would highly recommend this place!

We went during lunch. The food was awesome, it’s the fish that had me. It was so thick with meat and the batter was so good. The best fish I have ever tasted. The wait to order was not long. The wait for the food 15 to 20 min. 6 ladies rocking and rolling making orders as fast as they could, man the line was out the door for people wanting to order. They do call in orders or door dash. You can sit inside and enjoy your food. Definitely good home cooked food. I will be back to Taste more of there Menu.

Road trip, Houston to New Orleans, we stopped specifically because of Mr. Chimetimes’s review and it did NOT disappoint! We were warmly greeted upon arriving at 2:10pm – 20 minutes before closing time. I was disappointed that only one menu item was available, but it was understandable. We had meatball stew over gravy and rice, corn, and some sort of okra mash up. Every bite was heaven! I can’t wait to visit again!

My 1st time here and the food was delicious. The ladies upfront were so welcoming and the atmosphere felt homey. Serving size was generous as well. I had the shrimp/ fish and grits ..side of corn seasoned well with a kick to it.

Food was off the chain! The wait was kind of long but I DID go on a Sunday afternoon, but it was well worth the wait anyway! I had the turkey wing plate. Ate off this plate 3x for lunch and dinner lol.

Saw them on Mr. Chimetime video and decided to stop by I had a whole catfish wasn’t horrible but I would’ve preferred a bit more seasoning on it, Stuffed pork roast, rice and gravy, pork and beans, and green beans everything was amazing. The girl taking the orders had extremely great energy and customer service skills she made taking the order super simple especially when it came to explaining what was on the menu, definitely will be back soon.
