From the moment we walked in, we were enthusiastically greeted. The ambiance is very fresh and welcoming, a different layout than the other locations I go to.
We ordered the Korean bowl (our favorite), chicken quesadilla with a side of guacamole and sour cream and of course a smoothie (mango peach lemon).
I know they took awhile to open but the visit and wait is well worth it! Don’t let the bad reviews steer you otherwise.

This has been my daughter’s favorite place since 2012; she is 11 now, and during the pandemic, we tried to support them by going to our Woodstock fav location for pick-ups. We moved, and we were excited they opened a happy valley location. But the service and the way they serve it’s absurd. I wish I had taken a picture of the burrito they made when I said light beans on a twin kids burrito; they gave us a 3-inch burrito; not sure how old it was; the yogurt for her mango lazzy drink tasted so weird, and I’m glad I took a picture of her chips just another joke from their employees when they decided to give us the leftovers.
No more takeouts or not going to this location again!

Outside seating is very loud next to a main road. Staff took forever to make our food, and when they brought it out they poisoned my girlfriend with a non-vegan burrito. We had ordered everything to be vegan due to allergy’s. Also staff was super loud and annoying. Definitely would not recommend dining in.

We wanted to try something new tonight and decided on Laughing Planet. The menu looked fresh and healthy. We ended up ordering takeout. We ordered salads and a kids meal. Unfortunately they forgot a few toppings off my salad. The roasted chick peas had a weird texture as well. The other salad was decent. I also ordered a kids meal and the black beans were very dry. The concept is great but the food wasn’t up to par, which is sad because we wanted to like this place.

I tried to edit my last review with no luck. I just wanted to add i ordered the green chile burrito, the rice was white jasmin not brown (I have dietary restrictions) and absolutely not cooked, crisp and crunchy. The Pico was almost non existent. The woman that handed me the order seemed put out that I wanted hot sauce. She offed me hot or hotter red. I said I usually get the green. She came back with that she hasn’t poured more. But with a little prompting she pulled out a pitcher and filled 1 to go container.
She then went back to visiting.
I, the customer, was a bother and it showed. I will continue with my happy Laughing planets elsewhere.

I had ordered a chicken burrito as a bowl and paid 3.50 for extra chicken. When I received my order, there were only 8 pieces exactly of chicken. Which equates to about 4 total ounces. There were WAY too many beans, maybe they clicked the wrong button on what extra I wanted. My daughter and I both got the exact same thing and neither had the extra chicken. The restaurant was freaking cold, I wish I would have checked the reviews ahead of time. Very disappointed

Today was my very 1st time at this place and id like to say I was very dissapointed. I was there for 20 min waiting for my to go order. There was only 1 table. This young lady was not wearing gloves while she was grabing food with her hand to fill the plates for the customers that were waiting at the table as well as my to go bowl Lebanese special. I could not believe my eyes, she was touching the screen the money I gave her when I payed, cabinet doors and didn’t wash hands once. So I had to approach her that she should wear gloves when touching food especially when you make different types of food. A must to was hands and wear gloves. Then she started remaking my food after already waiting for 20 min, she only had 1 table. Also after I left, I went next door to get my pedi done and opened my box of food, zucchini was brown as it went bad, so I don’t think the veggies were even fresh. Her attitude was not pleasant at all. I ended up throwing it away after I payed 15$. I don’t recommend this place at all, anyone who works in the food industry should be wearing a hair cover and gloves, wash hands too after touching the money. I was disgusted already. I hope the owner sees this review and retrain the employee.

I loved all the ingredients! They just didn’t mesh together well enough with bland dressing to create any depth nor desirable texture and flavor.
Service was sufficient. Nice and big fenced outdoor sitting area to provide some privacy from the busy Sunnyside Rd with coverage roofing protection from rain and sun.
I liked the the smoothies didn’t used sugar juice or added syrup. It was a bit running in texture for me. I might need to add for thicker texture next time I get it.
The Caesar Kale Salad was so hard to chew on, combined with roasted chickpeas was definitely a disastrous choice. I dumped all the dressing on the small bowl and it still hard to chew on and tasted like nothing.
I liked the Hunger Hungarian soup enough to perhaps get them again someday. I love mushroom so this was a life saver.
The Indian Sauce offered with the Bollywood Bowl added nothing to the dish! The sauce itself was running, and bland with no particular flavor whatsoever.
I love chickpeas but the staled roasted chickpeas on raw cut kales salad and the forgettable Indian Sauce for Bollywood Bowl were a lose-lose creation.
I might come back to give other dishes a shot only if someone else pays my bill.

I LOVE this place!!! Food is good, staff is friendly. I come here on my lunch break about once a week. I love that they have vegan options. My favorite is the chili♥️♥️ I recommended this place to anyone!!
UPDATE**** The regular cooks that were there a year ago are no longer there, and the food has gone down hill. It seams that they do not know how to cook the rice, it’s always hard! , the bowls use to be packed and really good now they are like half full and barley any toppings. Old cooks please come back!!!!!!!! I changed my stars, so disappointed.
