Absolutely delicious. I’m very glad I happened upon this place! The broths are amazing, the meats are fantastic, and the sides are great. I strongly recommend this place for anyone seeking an authentic hot pot experience.

10/10 hot pot!!

I love this quaint place. The decor is super cute. Besides that, the food is good too! I highly recommend the rieu cua soup. The thai clams were delicious as well. The clams may be small, but the broth was so flavorful. The prices for their snails were good prices too! Our server was sweet & attentive. Bonus points for the free desserts in the fridge!

First time going to an AYCE lau restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool. They tried to make it as if you are in Vietnam. The food was decent and I enjoyed the tom yum broth I ordered. There’s also a fridge with che (Vietnamese dessert) that was a nice surprise. I’d say I’ve had better hot pot experiences elsewhere, but I liked the Vietnamese flavors and ingredients they had here.

We ate at its soft opening, not sure what would change after that.
They have combinations to choose from, or you can build yourself.
We ordered 3 different soup bases: miso, Tom yum, Singapore curry.
The 3 flavors are all very good, Tom yum is sweet and sour, Singapore curry is spicy but very creamy!
It’s a pity that the portion size is very small, not worthy of the price. But their soup bases are really good and the service is good!

This was my family and I’s favorite lau place in Arlington. We loved the broth flavors, variety of meats, seafood, and veggies. We also enjoyed the variety of desserts/fruits they had at the end of our meal. We continued to go back regularly… BUT tonight will be the LAST time we come back. The quality of the meats, veggies, and even the noodles have gone down drastically!!! Some of the broth options were OUT. There were little options to choose from to add into our lau. One of the sauces smelled bad as if it was old. We were appalled by the quality of the food. My sister started feeling unwell once she got home. We are so disappointed in the quality and lack of options. PLUS, the dessert smelled old. We had to tell them! For the price we’re paying… it should be better…

First time and last time too
The food was not good and the soup was so sweet
And every time I need something I had to call them over for water ,spoons, or napkins. But it got to the point where it was too much so I had to get it from another table. Thin slices of meat and only 3 per tray. Also $29.99 per person and you have to pay $10 extra to change your soup. Vegetables aren’t fresh either and theres not much variety. I would recommend going to another place.

Our group of 7 came to the restaurant at 7:20 PM. It’s a small place and didn’t have a table big enough for all of us, so we agreed to split into two separate tables. Even though we got there at 7:20, we had to wait 40 minutes for a server to clean and set up the tables. We didn’t get seated until almost 8 PM – 4 people at one table, 3 at the other. We placed our order, and it took 20 minutes just for the hot pot soup to arrive. Then another 20 minutes (after I reminded them twice) for the meat to show up. We barely started eating when a server came over and told us, “If you want to order anything else, do it now because we’re closing the kitchen.” Like… seriously? We had only been seated for maybe 30 minutes by then, and they were already rushing us to wrap it up. Then came the kicker: when we went to pay, they charged an 18% service fee because we were a group of more than 6. But we were seated at two different tables — that’s no different than two smaller groups dining separately. On top of that, we only saw our server three times during the whole meal:
1. When they brought the soup
2. When they brought the fish
3. When they finally brought the meat

The rest of the time? He was busy cleaning other tables and didn’t check on us at all.
And no – it wasn’t even closing time yet. We finished eating before 9 PM, so the restaurant wasn’t actually closed.
Don’t ever go to this place. The staff are disrespectful, the food is dirty, and service is slow beyond belief. Just because you saw a TikTok video doesn’t mean it’s worth trying – you’ll regret it. I’m not exaggerating – the place is straight-up nasty.

This is what you call… a hole in wall restaurant. located inside THE FOOD GALLERY.
I was impressed by the atmosphere of this place, the food.. so fresh. The service so lovely (Thank you Ly)
So it’s all you can eat buffet, they bring you the meet in slices and you cook it in the broth, unexpectedly delicious. I am definitely coming back and I definitely recommend checking out this spot at least once in your life time
Also they stay up open until 11pm!!

*Kitchen closes at 9:30 on weekdays including Friday.
With limited representation of hotpot, lau, or shabu shabu culture in the Arlington area, Kolben Food Court deserves recognition and applause for offering a convenient individual AYCE (All You Can Eat) style hotpot. The menu features a unique variety of Southeast Asian flavors and produce options, making it a refreshing dining experience.
