This private restaurant and bar is the center of this community, where we meet and eat and drink and get-together to talk and have fun!
Our server(Courtney) is just a pleasure, she knows the menu, she is helpful, she is attentive, she is always friendly, we recommend you ask for her, she makes your visit so much more enjoyable!
And more recently our server(Debbie) was equally favorable! While we tried the special pretzel crusted mahi… delish! The double chocolate chip & ice cream perfectly please my sweet tooth!
The menu has just the right amount of choices, something to please everyone, and usually some special items too!
The atmosphere is like no other, open, airy, bright, and just so refreshing.
There is always music playing, many times it’s live too!

After hearing the rather shocking news of Jimmy Buffett’s unexpected death yesterday, Sept 2nd, and being a big fan of his from the ‘70’s when I first came to Florida, I felt the need to acknowledge his passing in some way. A friend lives in the Margaritaville community, so we met up there for a drink at the Latitude Bar & Chill, and ended up having dinner.
(Note: You cannot get access to this restaurant/bar or the community, unless you know someone who lives there. When we arrived I didn’t know my friend’s address as we were meeting at the bar, so security did call him to verify we were legit.)
Was my first time there, and I was very impressed. The place is new, spotlessly clean, and the live music from the adjacent Latitude stage floated across the Town Square. Our server was great, the food and drinks superb, (pina colada, pigs in a blanket, pulled pork & mango burger, all totally awesome!), the prices very reasonable (see menu photo), and we got to reminisce about our one and only Jimmy B.
If you have a friend who lives in the Margaritaville community, do yourself a favor and invite yourself and your friend for dinner at the Latitude Bar & Chill one nice evening. It’s a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy life, and, if you feel the urge, pay one’s respects to the late great, Jimmy B.
Rest in Peace Jimmy, it wasn’t planned to be this way, you were supposed to outlive us all.

Great food and atmosphere. Adjacent to many great amenities, including Town Center where they frequently have live music. We love their salads, philly sandwich and chicken sandwich.

Great place to hang and have a bite to eat and a cold drink while hanging by the pool. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Service was okay when you could get it as it was way understaffed. Prices were reasonable.

The Bar and Chill is such a gem in our community! The food is consistently amazing, and the staff works so hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. You can really feel the sense of community here we love everyone there. Always a wonderful time, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends. Highly recommend!
