We really enjoyed dinners here. Recommend coming early if you want to ensure you get the specials as they can run out if u eat too late. But on the regular menu highly recommend the sockeye salmon and mushroom risotto! We liked the soups. Larger portions for dinner but smaller portions for lunch. Staff are very friendly.

The included breakfast for the Basecamp is decent, more carb heavy like cereal, bread/bagel/biscuit/English muffin, and a waffle station. Minimal fruit. They did have an omelette station, probably the star of breakfast.

Outstanding in every aspect. Our waiter James took excellent care of us and made sure we had a spectacular dining experience. The food was great. I plan on going here often as I can. It is 100% worth the drive to get there.

I wanted to be impressed with Latitude 65 but for the price this honestly deserves less stars. This is an amazing location and has the potential to be great. The food was decent but I’ve had much better scallops and pork belly at many other restaurants, and the portion for the pork belly was ridiculous for $18. The bison TBone was good and actually a good portion.

Where this place really failed was with the service. My water was never refilled. There was literally 12 people in restaurant when we were there.

I think that this restaurant fully knows they have a captive audience and don’t have to give it their best. If you are local please do yourself a favor and drive to Chena Hot Springs if you are looking to get out of the city. Unfortunately since The Library closed we don’t have what you would call fine dining. The Greens would be the closest to stay local. If you are visiting please enjoy some of the other local establishments Fairbanks has to offer. While the views of northern lights are amazing in this area there are so many places closer to town.

When you go to a resort with one place to eat and no transportation to go anyplace else, you hope for the best with the menu provided. Fortunately, Latitude65 has quality chefs who understand creative fine dining. They source local, forage, and change specials daily based on what fresh and available. These dinners were incredibly delicious. They serve wine and beer and I’m told a full bar is coming. Latitude 65 isn’t cheap, but it is a unique dining experience worth every penny. Dinners included apps, soup/salad, entree, wine, dessert.
Amanda was fantastic. She was pleasant, efficient, and friendly. She enhanced the dining experience greatly! Can’t wait to return!!

We stayed at Borealis Basecamp for 3 nights with no car, so had no choice but to eat at the one on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet was actually quite good. They had a fantastic omelette bar, and I also enjoyed their yogurt and granola as well. The dinner was ok but small portions for the price. The Alaskan halibut and the pan seared duck breast were both quite good, though not $60 good. Some of our group preferred the burgers on the pub menu, which is served in the lounge area, and luckily the wait staff were able to accommodate us sitting in the Latitude 65 main dining room, as the lounge is set up for smaller groups with its mostly 2 person high top tables, with some of our group ordering off the Latitude dinner menu and others ordering off the pub menu.

Fine-dining prices for a neighborhood restaurant quality.
We ate there two dinners and two breakfasts and both experiences should be separated.
The breakfast was OK, not many options though. Sometimes it was hard to find the Omelette chef which would go “missing” multiple times, each time for 15 minutes or so, creating a long queue of people waiting for him. He also wasn’t nice, actually he was very rude! He had a temper and when ordering (mentioning what to include in the Omelette) he would yel “Next!” in a rude way, he never smiled or looked happy, it is like he didn’t want to be there at all, and it wasn’t only for us, this was his temper with everyone, in both of the mornings we stayed there.
Regarding dinner the prices are outrageous and totally not worth it.
The quality wasn’t consistent, neither the staff quality. Everything was nice and romantic in the first night, but not in the second night.
Some of the items were missing from the menue the second night so we had to order the same things again.
The steak was tasty the first night but not the second night, the same regarding the fish.
Fine dining prices for average food, outrageously expensive.
At the second night we didn’t get a window table, which is ok, but the couple that entered directly before us did. That couple change their mind 1 minute after sitting there and asked to sit elsewhere and they let them. Since we were still sitting (didn’t remove our coats yet), we asked whether we can sit in the place of that couple, near the window and they refused because they wanted to give that table’s staff a rest (which didn’t make any sense, since they assign it to that couple…), but 3 minutes afterwards they reassigned it to a different couple that just entered the restaurant…not nice at all.
We stayed at Borealis Basecamp for two nights and we didn’t have any options beside eating at this restaurant and they take advantage. That would be ok if the quality was good and consistent.

Dinner was exceptional each time. Steaks, Risotto, Pork Belly….all above average. The chef is excellent. The staff was exceedlingly accomodating and nice and the view….never got old. Breakfast was solid but nothing special. Bottom line….amazing place at the top of the world.

Best anniversary dinner I could have asked for being at Latitude 65! Chef curated a perfect menu for the Meals on Wheels fundraiser. Everything about this restaurant is perfection. Absolute best place to eat in Fairbanks, no competition. Thank you to everyone at Latitude 65 who made our experience memorable last night!

Anyone who poorly rates this restaurant simply does not understand that this is a unique fine dining experience. If you want overly salted slop on a plate, go to most of the other bland restaurants in Fairbanks.

At Latitude 65, every single element in every single dish goes flawlessly together. I appreciate all of the thought, prep, time, and vision these Chefs put into their courses. It’s worth every penny to have a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful place!

We had lunch & supper here for several days. The food was out of this world! Everything was unlike food in the lower 48 states. Even the sweet potatoes were something I can’t recreate! I had Kobe for the first time & the chef set the bar high for the next time I try it. This is only on the menu when it’s available & is the real deal flown in from Japan. There were 2 Hollywood actors eating beside us & one told the chef he has eaten Kobe all over the world & his is the best. The views are stunning, just like the food!

I’m so incredibly in love with this restaurant. The food is beyond amazing; every dish is expertly crafted. The time that is placed in making every dish unique each day is not missed. It’s such a blessing to be able to have a beautiful ambiance inside the restaurant, while staring at the scenery outside (if you’re lucky seeing painted skies), and enjoying an explosion of flavors. Not to mention the desserts (specifically the cheesecakes) which are always newly inspired. Chef George and Su-chef Benji put their whole heart into their work. I’m also very grateful for the staff. Throughout every visit, I’ve only ever experienced kindness and care. I would highly recommend giving this lovely one of a kind place a visit.
