Truly a hole in the wall restaurant to get Peruvian chicken. Prices are OK for the area but the taste was average, not great not terrible. Restaurants interior is very rundown and gives off the hole in the wall look. Service was good.

Arrived at this place on a Friday night 45 minutes before closing. They were not friendly and were upset we showed up. The place is clean. It’s in a “peculiar” part of Woodbridge. The only reason I wondered over this area is because my chicken place, Pollo Rico has been closed for a few weeks now.

However, I’ve run into the same issue multiple times: I’m charged a different price every time I order the exact same thing. To make matters worse, the receipt only shows a total—no item breakdown or pricing—so there’s no way to confirm what you’re actually being charged for. Im always charged something extra but I can’t see what I am being charged for because it doesn’t show on the receipt.
When I ask about the price difference, I’m never given a clear explanation, which is frustrating and makes the experience feel a bit dishonest, even if unintentional. It’s usually just a few dollars, but it adds up and leaves a bad impression.
I hope the owners take this feedback seriously and update their system for better price consistency and receipt transparency—because the food is good.

It’s the first time I visit this place, honestly I expected more of the flavor but today I felt the chicken, the potatoes and the banana without flavor, as well as the yellow sauce. I’m not one to put complaints but this time it was the exception.

The lady at the front desk is not friendly, I asked for dark meat half chicken she told me I cannot order like that, they only sell it white and dark together; I ask that I only want dark she immediately say there’s no more chicken I said ok thanks then I looked back while walking away she was taking an order for dark chicken so I want outside and my daughter that has no understanding what was happening told me she was hungry so I had to come back to order quarter of chicken dark then the lady said they have it but then a good gentleman that was cooking saw me asked me if I wanted the whole chicken in dark and that he will make it for me, and I got my order in less than 5 minutes, then we we’re sitting down to eat and I overheard a Spanish lady talking and laughing at my daughter’s African American hair that is style in afro puff and her son has to stop her from doing that. I can understand Spanish. I was disappointed coming her, I have been coming here for over 4 yrs with no problem, even getting napkins the front desk lady looks at my daughter funny why I don’t understand. I was never rude or even talks back because I was not raised that way. I felt so disgusted but after eating I said thank you and walked out. But my whole day was not in a good mood.

Good to okay charcoal chicken place. Didn’t particularly like the way they block your view of the cooked chickens and side dishes with tinfoil. General atmosphere was just okay.
The chicken is good, not great. The yucca was fine if not a little dry. The plantains were an upcharge but totally worth it. Loved them.
All in all I was satisfied, but it’s no Super Chicken.
