Well I’m glad that I decided to hold off on reviewing my first visit…. Things seemed off on that day 6 months ago, people weren’t really friendly, service was extremely slow with only 3 tables sat and the food was not great… it took an hour to get my entree…. That being said, today’s visit was the total opposite! Today I went for their Friday lunch special, Spanish onion steak with black beans, yellow rice and I added coleslaw. The meal also includes a cup of chicken soup and plant and chips. Everything was excellent, the steak was tender and very flavorful, the black beans were cooked to perfection, the coleslaw was cold and creamy and the soup although small was amazing!! It’s a great inexpensive meal! Oh and $3 sangria and other beverages from 11-6! Service from Arney was friendly and efficient! Update… I tried the dinner special tonight for the first time, the ribs were excellent and Mina was a sweet, wonderful and delightful server!!

Went for dinner on a weekday at around 4:30. Enjoyed the variety of happy hour specials. Service was fantastic. Several people checked in on us.
Food was great with ample portion sizes but not so much that you’ll take home a lot of leftovers. Jibarrito was especially good. A nice mix of Latin and American music that wasn’t overpowering.

Outstanding experience from start to finish!
This place truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is professional and friendly, and the service/thank you so much Leydi, Yaimi, Kenia and Jose they are excellent outstanding . You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and worth every penny. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality, reliability and dance. I will definitely be coming back!

I love LQ on Main!
They serve incredible food, they’re super friendly, and they host some amazing parties. I cannot recommend their food enough, though. Their specials are affordable and filling. They go above and beyond with portions and taste. Their homemade soup (the chicken stew) is my favorite dish! But their empanadas and their mofongo are incredible too!
You definitely need to check them out.

Food,was horrendous,
Arrow congris had zero flavor,same with the mojo for the yuca,
The fish was dried,over fried, and not fresh,the salad that came with was wilted and u can tell it came right out of a bag,no dressing,the Palomilla steak,was so rough, could not even have a bite,

We discovered a fantastic spot in Downtown Sarasota!
We had a great time on a Saturday, enjoying Mimosas and some delicious Latin appetizers.
The chicharron( pork and chicken were great!!The service was excellent; everyone was friendly and polite.
The food and drink specials were great value, and the dishes were not only tasty but also served in very generous portions!
This is an excellent place to have a good time with friends or family, located right on pretty Sarasota Main Street.

We past this Gem on Saturday night. Can back today. This is a MUST STOP and eat. White sangria is marvelously refreshing after hours on the beach, they also serve house soup that is full of flavors it will leave you wanting more. As well as the plantain chip, not greasy at all and every chip is the prefect crunch. I got the beef, chicken and guava Empanada. All are Delicious, came out the perfect temperature.

My friend and I came here for lunch and it was awesome. Every morsel was fresh and tasty and the service superb. We received a complimentary cup of chicken soup. Just what the doctor ordered. This restaurant was a great find. We shall return soon.

Unfortunately worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and I was a customer multiple times before but this will be my last and I will tell everyone I can to stay away.
Beans came to the table, they were sour therefore we spoke up and sent back. We are not unfamiliar with Puerto Rican cuisine as we are from Puerto Rico, the beans were old and were sour from being old, whoever they spoke to in the back that said the beans were from yesterday LIED and if the manager would’ve tasted the beans she would’ve known.
Churrasco was synthetic meat, daughter took maybe three bites out of it. My son got a simple buffalo wrap, didn’t pass half of it. Wasn’t able to order ropa vieja mofongo spent $12 for a side of mofongo to order the plate of ropa vieja to make my own . Mofongo was okay, ate half. No one out of the 5 of us ate one full fourth of our plate. We were the ONLY table in there for service and food to be this way. I got the ticket and I saw it was $98 and I looked at my husband because I couldn’t believe we were going to pay almost $100 for the value of food and amount we actually ate. My daughters went to the bathroom and I knew my husband was going to pay and voice his concerns after because we aren’t upset for the bill, we will pay the bill. 75% of the food went back to the kitchen but we aren’t the type to complain to free food. My husband gives the card and after he spoke his concerns and the food. After a couple back and forth some and my husband stating it’s not about the money it’s about the service, the experience the quality and taste of the food and none of that was given today. Nothing was offered to bring a customer back for future visit. Manager says okay I appreciate it I’m going to take care of you and swipes the card. The receipt back was $95 and some change. 25% off was taken of the $6.99 special my husband got. That to me was a joke, and I felt disrespected in that moment for taking $4 off my ticket when it wasn’t about the money, so my husband looked at the receipt and she says your ticket was $100 and something right? The manager did not even look at the ticket amount to see what she was even doing and what our amount was. Not really sure what she was thinking in the moment.
I go to the truck with my kids for my daughters to tell me how unbelievable the bathrooms were.

I wish I had pictures of the food sent back but Honestly only edible food was tostones and yellow rice.
