Got introduced and treated to a delicious dinner at Late’s by good friends from the area. The diner atmosphere is fantastic, the menu is amazing, and there’s baked goods to drool over while you’re settling your bill (and to take home). The staff was definitely busy, but had time for every group at the booths or the winding countertop. This will definitely be a regular stop whenever we’re back in the area.

I always make time to stop there for a meal when I’m in Manitowoc. Delicious burgers in a Diner atmosphere. They were busy today with 2 waitresses. The cook brought our meals out to us. Top notch.

Great place for a burger. Gypsy had a pizza burger and cheese curds. I had a baccon cheese burger with onion rings. We will definitely return when we are in the area. We also recommend stopping by if you are traveling near Late’s.

Shakes and malts were fabulous, pulled pork sandwich was very good, onion rings were good, fried mushrooms were over done, service was friendly. Hamburger was extremely thin and we wouldn’t order one again. I recommend Late’s for ice cream.

First time visitors, and I have to say, every bit of hype we heard about Late’s is true. Delicious! Super fresh food, so tasty and cooked to order. We visited at lunch on a Friday, it was rocking but they served us quickly and our waitress was friendly and helpful.

This is a great little diner. Make sure you have cash because they don’t take credit cards. The prices are retro- i haven’t paid less than $8 for an omlette in ages, and Ive never had a cheese curd omlette. I highly recommend it though, and my husband had the packer omlette and was happy with it as well. Great coffee as well. Nice off the beaten path location with the park across the street and the lake.

We got cheese curds from them, and they were so greasy that we couldn’t taste the cheese at all. The double cheeseburger was also greasy and messy. The burger patties were very thin, you can hardly call it a double burger. I wish I had a reason to write a better review.
