One of the all-time greats. If you’re ever in the Manitowoc area, this is a must stop for an old school diner with amazing food. Great burgers, I love the perch sandwich, amazing fries, cheese curds, you name it! And, you have to sit at the counter. It’s the only way to do it.

First time eating here. Had breakfast. Omelettes and Biscuits and gravy are very good. Also had the Maple Bacon shake. Basically a maple shake with bacon bits in it. Took a couple sips but the taste works and if you get past the texture, I highly recommend you give it a try. If that’s not your thing they have 22 other flavors. Menu has a good selection of Burgers, chicken sandwiches etc..sides such as onion rings and fries are also available. I am looking forward to having lunch here at some point. Service was great and price was very reasonable. They only take cash but have an ATM onsite.

Stopped in for a quick bite while in Manitowoc. I have been here before, but it was 5 or so years ago. Great menu and many options.
The server was very helpful and there were quite a few people that had come in for carry out. Service was fast and food was good.
I tried the pork sandwich, fish sandwich and their made from scratch onion rings. All three were delicious and filling. I would highly recommend Late’s to those seeking casual fare.

Great place for a burger. Gypsy had a pizza burger and cheese curds. I had a baccon cheese burger with onion rings. We will definitely return when we are in the area. We also recommend stopping by if you are traveling near Late’s.
