Charming restaurant in old Colmar. I loved my starter (Fricassé de girolles, ravioli de pomme de terre, noisette torréfiée, citron et jus relevé au soja). The main course was also very good but a little less interesting, in my opinion.
I need to clarify that my main course was not on the menu.
I am vegetarian and there is no vegetarian main course option on the menu (maybe something worth adding ).
As mentioned, this was not a problem at all as the Restaurant found a great solution for me. Thanks for the flexibility!

Excellent restaurant of highest food quality in the heart of Colmar. Very calm and smooth atmosphere, it was not noisy although it was a busy Saturday evening. The Grand Menu is excellent from beginning to the end. Great balance of dishes with emphasis on the fish, overall great tastes, visually very appealing . The dessert burrata with lemon twist was a particular positive surprise. The wine list is as extensive as great with splendid regional wines. Service is very kind and friendly, but there seems to be no clear assignment to the table which made orders sometimes and especially the payment lengthier than needed. However, this is highly recommended.

What an evening to remember
we took the 7 course meal
one after the other came perfectly balanced dishes in perfect timing giving enough time to let the previous dish sink in and the conversation to develop and exactly when we were ready the next perfect dish appeared all coupled with excelent wines to complement

We had a lovely time. First of all the restaurant has a serene and calming atmosphere. Very peaceful. Second of all the food, which is something you set high expectations for in a Michelin; and that’s been rewarded completely! The food does honour to the restaurants name and therefore is very colourful and vibrant, very creative. I enjoyed that besides all of it being super fresh, it was also very healthy, each meal was refreshing and also very delicious. Lastly the staff, because for me that can make or break a more luxury dining experience. Well they definitely made it; typical French passion for the food and for the good service. Little details like personal interest and taking good care of the guests, lots of humor and no lack of kindness. Special thanks for them acknowledging my boyfriends birthday as well with a beautiful extra dessert!

Amazing overall experience! We ordered the 5 course meal and were truly fascinated by the delicious creations. For vegetarians, it was possible to order the same meal with small adaptations – also very tasty. Huge compliment not only to the kitchen staff but also the waiters.

Food was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not provide a pairing options for dishes, but sommelier was happy to help with it.
Our waiter was always busy with other guests, which is not good.
The airco/ventilation could be better, on the 3rd hour of the dinner we were feeling nauseous because of the lack of air.

Very delicious ! Service is friendly and professional! Love the idea of the chef making every dish as a painting! Only one thing need to complain is after I ordered the glass of red wine ( 10 € ) and the personnel recommend me another more more flavored one , in the end on the bill and I realized the wine he recommend is 25 € !! That’s not a very comfortable feeling !
