Believe the reviews!
I went last night for DJ fresco; I didn’t have any issues at the door; the three guys were very friendly! However when I sat at the bar trying to wave down the girls & they ignored me for 30mins the tall funny face one even looked straight at me & turned away. soon as some guys sat down her tall goofy self ran right over. The only way I finally got a drink is because another guy walked up & got served, & I mentioned it to him & when the dark hair girl brought him his drink, HE pointed at me like she needs you! Of course she took my order with an attitude. Needless to say I wouldn’t be back.

My experience at Last Round was disappointing. The bartender was inattentive, and I spent a long time with no drink while others were served. By the time she finally asked if I needed anything, I was ready to just leave. The vibe wasn’t for me, and frankly, it wasn’t diverse, I felt out of place. The food was average; the wings were bland. I wouldn’t recommend it because the service made me feel unwelcome.

Beware* A woman was reportedly drugged here, tested positive for GHB after being taken to the hospital, and the situation was handled terribly. The worst part? The bouncers on duty allowed her to drive after she expressed feeling drugged. When she voiced her concerns, the staff brushed it off, saying it wasn’t their problem. This is a massive failure in customer care and basic human decency.

If you can’t trust the staff to protect your safety and wellbeing, especially when you’re vulnerable, then this is not a place I’d recommend esp for woman. The fact that they allowed someone under the influence to leave, leading to a car accident, shows a blatant disregard for responsibility. No one should ever be in a position where their safety is compromised like this. The restaurant needs to take serious action and reassess their staff training and security procedures. It’s deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone until significant changes are made.

Refusal of acknowledgement of multiple patrons being roofied, leading to a serious car accident that very well may have been avoided if proper steps were taken. Needless to say that is enough for me to give this place 1 star. I’d give 0 if I could.
Edit: refusal to acknowledge the situation at hand at the time. If you properly addressed it then it wouldn’t have happened. Banning them for getting drugged isn’t going to fix the problem. Do better with your business and passive aggressive replies to your patrons

It’s my first time here and the game keeps stopping. It’s a Fire Stick or Hulu problem but it ain’t a Sunday Ticket problem because you aren’t using it for the Pats game. Yet you boast all over Facebook for having Sunday Ticket.
It’s a problem if you’re a sports bar and the TVs shut down during the home team game for 5 minutes at a time throughout the game.

The bartender also took 20 minutes to greet me and only asked if I wanted food 40 minutes after serving my drink.. Is it normal for staff to be inattentive towards new guests?

I just moved to New Bedford and am looking for a regular game day bar.
This obviously isn’t it.

Edit: owner stated they were understaffed. The bar was half empty. Literally half the bar seats were empty. Only 3 or 4 tables around the bar were occupied. And 2 bartenders can’t handle half a bar? Hire new staff, then, because these two can’t handle it.

I really can’t remember the last time I gave anyplace less than five stars on service. I can’t understand how they’re still in business. The bartender’s response when I asked for a beer they don’t serve, “we don’t serve garbage beer here!”, WITH A STRAIGHT FACE! She was not joking around! I actually didn’t know how to respond, seeing as this was the first time that a bartender has ever said anything so rude to me in my fifty-two years! I waited forty-five minutes before politely asking how much longer for the appetizers. I was told I would know when they’re done because they would be brought to me. I told her “no I won’t, because I won’t be here,” and then I walked out. I’m still astonished that they remain in business! Some things in life just don’t make sense.

They turned me away because they said they did not accept my Canadian ID (despite the fact that 3 of my cousins who traveled with me from Canada were already in there with just their ID). Regardless, i turned around got my passport as instructed & came back about 20 minutes later. By then there was a bit of a lineup & apparently they were at capacity & weren’t letting people in, despite telling the young ladies at the front of the line that they would just have to wait for 3 people to leave… i went to the door & advised the doorman that i had come back with my passport, to which he replied “i never told you to do that, now close my door”. I was absolutely stunned! My cousin and i were ready to leave when another one of our family members convinced the doorman to let us in… then the doorman proceeded to ask if i had my passport, i replied “yeah, i showed it to you right before you claimed you never told me to go get it”… the rudeness continued until we were inside the bar. Once we got in, we were met with sticky floors & rude bartenders.

I’ve been traveling to New Bedford for almost 20 years & have never been treated so poorly until now. Extremely disappointed. Will never step foot in this place again. Please don’t give this place one red cent of your hard earned cash!

This place acts like it’s better than it is. New policy doesn’t let people from other countries enter with their passports. American IDs only. Discriminatory and absolutely ridiculous. It’s New Bedford, get over yourselves. The place itself is extremely mediocre.

Awful awful experience! Really bad customer service. Male bald bartender very rude. Accused me of not paying the bill after I handed him 100 dollar bill for the tab and then a 10 dollar bill on the bar as a tip for a 40 dollar tab! He threw the ten dollar bill at me! I told him to check the cameras. He said he didn’t have cameras there then took a picture of my license plate. I went to the police station immediately after in the event anything comes of this. I am NOT a person to not pay my bill. I was there wit friends and we always rush each other to the bill as to who is going to treat who tonight! I asked the bartender for change back from the 100. He thought I asked just to break the 100. I did not count my change and left the 10 on the bar so that part is my fault for not counting my change, but the way he handled it and threw money at me and calling me names was so unprofessional! I asked to speak with a manager or owner and he said they were not there. I asked for their contact information and he started to give the number and then said no I’m not giving it to you! Ruined our night completely. We had the 10 at the end of the bar for quite some time as we were just talking and laughing. In fact I had even made a comment to my friends that I didn’t think he deserved the 25% gratuity because he was so inattentive and nonexistent, but I left it anyway. We didn’t run out of the bar to escape a bill. We parked both of our cars at the very front of the entrance and when he came out yelling we were both just sitting there in our cars. No spinning tires to escape, no running out, nothing. So distasteful. I would not recommend this place ever. This is my second time there and my second time for poor service. The last time the bartender was just inattentive and the food took a long time both times. I literally just go there for their buffalo chicken dip because that is actually good, but not worth being treated so poorly! Very disappointed. Cannot express it enough.

If you want to have a good nightlife experience, take the extra 30 minutes to providence…. It’s well worth it compared to this place ran by racist old men. They refuse to hire a Hispanic DJ, refused any non American people with their proof of age documents access to the bar and we got one drink and left because they asked us for ID 3 different times after Id’ng at bar. Never coming back ever again. It’s unfortunate to have business owners like the guys who run this place representing the city of New Bedford.
