Against my better judgment, I decided to give this place a try despite their “B” health rating. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start.
There is a frustrating lack of transparency regarding their pricing. The overhead menu listed the chicken and waffles at $12, but I was charged $15. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told there had been a price increase. While I understand costs go up, there should be a sign notifying customers until the menu is updated.
As for the food, the presentation was great, but the quality didn’t match. The waffles were soft but very dry, and the chicken was only warm, not hot, and lacked seasoning. I really wanted to like this spot, but between the health grade and the experience, I won’t be returning.

I had a bad experience with Lash 2 months ago and against my better judgment I returned on Tuesday and I asked for oxtail gravy on my rice & peas and I swear to God it’s like they throw water on the rice, I didn’t see no thick nice gravy , it was watery , no flavor and once again this experience was disappointing! Lash you gotta do better, people are spending their hard earned money on your establishment and the least you can do is make sure that the good that your serving is up to par and it’ll make us want to come back but if you keep up this way you’re gonna lose customers !

This is very inconsistent food and extremely over priced and they have no shame about it. Cutting corners left and right. Make sure you ask how things prepared now because certain recipes they cut back on ingredients so you will eat and say hmmm something almost missing and it will be an important part of the flavor. Im not go ma blow them up but several dishes there must be consumed by pure americans because the flavor is missing one or two ingredient or the quality of ingredient not good so be friendly and ki day ask what is in your favorite dish…if you Jamaican you know you cant say certain item names and then leave out the most important aspect of that flavor profile.

I sent my lady there today cause she loves curry goat. I got the oxtail. We spent $34.50. The food was not what I had the first time going there, the quality and the amount of food we got for the price was so bad. I don’t recommend this place to anyone that truly loves to eat good

I heard this is the spot to go to if you want Chicken & Waffles in the Bronx. Let me say this place did not disappoint me. The staff were so courteous and helpful. There are a variety of waffles to choose from with your order. There are also other food options to choose from. The Chicken was seasoned well on the outside but the inside was kind of dry. But it was still delicious. I will be back for more.

This is NOT jerk chicken Rasta pasta this is Perdue chicken strips cut up with some bbq sauce, canned Alfredo sauce and jerk seasoning. This place used to have real meat and it’s a shame their charging 25 dollars for food they didn’t cook and bought from the grocery store, I could’ve saved my money and done that myself. Stop fooling people and get back to cooking fresh food.

I tried the 1st time their waffles jerked chicken & fried chicken it was great! There after ordered again just giving one more time worse!!! To the point I cannot eat the chicken because it’s so tough & taste like it’s weeks old; mac & cheese dry; rasta pasta with jerked chicken dry & pasta is over cooked. I wish it was delivered by them so i can send it back! Money wasted so upsetting
