We really enjoyed our experience here. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The food was very good but could have been a bit warmer. The harvest salad was so good. I could have eaten a huge bowl and been done. Delicious! I had broasted chicken. I agree with others: it didn’t have much flavor (except for the skin). The brisket was very tender and lean. Mashed potatoes and stuffing were the best. I usually eat cornbread stuffing now that I live in the south, but the “white bread” stuffing was a delicious reminder of my days growing up in Indiana. We had lemon meringue pie. The meringue was high, light, and tasty. The lemon layer was a little too much like lemon jello. But I ate it nonetheless :). I would definitely return!

Sorry I tried to like this place but it is a ghost of its former self. The last two times I have been there the food is cold. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans all cold. Not worth the drive for $20.00 a plate. Everything else is extra, no salad, no bread. Service is friendly. The pie tastes like it was store bought. The bakery is gone too. And they have muzak for music UGH. I have written to the website/management to complain but never received a response so they evidently don’t care. This place is nothing like it used to be. The only food item from the original Amish Acres is the threshers dinner which is now called the Farm Feast. Everything else on the menu is like upscale food. Amish Acres restaurant RIP.

Incredible Brisket and Catfish! The Farm Feast was a feast indeed. The cheesecake is awesome. So far the pot roast, brisket, catfish, and broasted chicken have all been delicious.

This was an exceptional restaurant when it was part of the former Amish Acres. It is now just sad and pathetic. Their web site doesn’t match the menu. The menu is also wrong and has not been updated. The waitstaff was clueless. The food tasted like it came from a box. Please save your time and money and eat elsewhere.

Been coming to this place for well over a decade and it’s just not the same. Seems like they’re trying to make this place a little too upscale. This is supposed to be an Amish experience but when you have Run DMC playing in the barn it kind of takes away from it. Maybe they’ll figure it out before we come back next year, hopefully not for the last time.
