I ordered chicken rice and beans..Got a plate of rice with 2 chickens that weren’t cooked properly and some beans.. my whole plate was rice and beans were burned, i only ate chickn because i was hungry..Also, there’s literally NO flavor IN anything.. I thought this was the old Spanish spot… Their food was amazing… This new spot is awful..

The original owners were Hispanic and the place was a hub for Dominicans and Puerto Ricans. A home away from home if you will.
This current establishment is NOTHING like the previous and absolutely sullied the name El Bochinche. Making awful food is one thing, but tarnishing the legacy of a house hold name is another. Such a shame

Overpriced and undercooked
$27 for a plate of rice with a little meat was way too much to pay. The chicken was pink and raw inside so I didn’t feel safe eating it, wish I could post a picture. The chicharrones were soft and chewy, need to be cooked more.

The old owner Angel was a good cook and his food was really good I tried the new owner today and food is not good at all. They gave me old tasting rice and pieces of kibbles and bits beef. What a waste of 13.00 dollars. They need to do better or close shop. They are not friendly at all. Would not recommend.

I love the family. Angel and his wife are amazing people really great attributes to the community. I’ve been going here for well over a decade possibly two. All the good is great. The chicharron is everything. The stew meat also. You must try this gem.
