The food was delicious with very generous portions. Loved the decore with the beautiful lights and the horse figures on the walls. To top the whole enjoyable experience is an automated food server robot. Fantastic!

My wife and I had an early dinner Friday afternoon. It was around 3pm. They weren’t very busy. It took us a little while to decide what to order, it was our first visit. My wife got the Quesadilla Azteca and I got the Alambres. We also enjoyed a few beers. Everything was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions were large. Service was excellent. I’m sure we’ll be back.

I came in at 4:45 PM with my 2-year-old son, ready to eat. The hostess wasn’t very friendly when we arrived, but we went ahead and got seated. Unfortunately, after we sat down, no one brought chips, no one took a drink order, and no one checked on us at all. After about eight minutes of zero contact from anyone, we decided to leave.

On the way out, I let the hostess know that no one had served us, and she just gave me a blank look.

Really disappointing experience, especially when you come in prepared to support a local place with your toddler in tow.

First time coming here and it was delicious! The portions are huge. Two dinners in one, service was attentive, and the atmosphere and music is fun and welcoming!

The decorations at this restaurant are beautiful. There was also an amazing balloon artists visiting tables. Our server was very energetic and gave great suggestions. The margaritas were perfect. The churiqueso also amazing.
But the best thing of all, the molcajete was the best I’ve ever had. The presentation was stunning and it was one of the best things I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Every meal was seasoned perfectly. We especially liked the ribs in it.

Fun experience, great food. Anything but average.

Went back a second time because I enjoyed the flavor so much. Portion size is well worth the price, and the flavor is on point. Both had significantly more flavor than other local/”average” Mexican restaurants.

The music is turned up to be almost a bar/club atmosphere (I went late night), which was a change to your “average” restaurant.

Well worth the price!

Great dinner here with a group of four! Two of the guys ordered Angel’s Plate—a seriously protein-packed burrito that filled them right up. I had a salad with chicken and veggies, which was fresh and really tasty.

The pineapple Agua Fresca was another highlight—super refreshing and huge! We ended up needing a to-go cup for it. Generous portions, bold flavors, and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

I love the food here and the atmosphere is great with usually great service. My family always loves this place. I am not the person to write horrible reviews either. We had a somewhat of a different experience this one time with a server that seemed distant. I think maybe they didnt understand what we said and it seemed rude. But we got it taken care of and changed servers. Our check took longer and service immediately kinda lagged afterwards but thats okay we will still continue to go back and eat here. All is good!!

They easily get confused with simple requests for extras. Dont always deliver what you asked for. When I asked for extras IN MY ORDER, they asked if sifes were ok instead of doing the order right the first time. We went over the order before placing the order. They brought and charged me extras a good $20 worth extra. They need to be sure they give what the customers ask for.

Since I’m not sure what each row of stars is representing (see attached photo) I’ll assume its Overall rating, food, service, atmosphere.
I gave a 1 star for food as this was the most sub par Tex Mex style food I’ve had. I’m familiar with the Las Trojas restaurants around this area, and I’ve known that they tend to be a bit on the pricier side. My husband and I decided to stop at this newer location, since we had not yet visited. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was mostly empty because… college football. The bar is huge and nice, but not one person was at the bar. We were seated in a booth.
My husband immediately commented on the prices, which are double the amount of other similar food establishments. But I reminded him that we knew this and expected good food.
Unfortunately, we were let down immediately. We had the guacamole to go with the chips and salsa. I immediately noticed a “fishy” taste, which led me to believe they used bad/spoiled avocados. Ok, we know how perishable avocados are which can lead to loss of profit during slow times.
I salted it to try and make it better, to no avail.
Our food came and it was presented well and service was nice. However, the rice was old, and so were the refried beans. I ate half my quesadilla and took the rest home.
We ordered to go plates for family at home, and paid. What would normally be $70-$85 tops before tip, came out to over $100. (No alcohol).
I would “maybe” consider trying it again when its busier and the food is more fresh. But I doubt I would convince my husband. It was a one and done for him.
I always wish for restaurants to do well and prosper, especially locally owned. Hopefully they’ll pick back up after football season.
