Las Tortugas Thornton Mexican Sandwiches

I would always come to this location and have never had problem with the food or the costumer service however, a bleach haired man with glasses had such a bad attitude, and talking back making unnecessary comments. I called ahead of time and placed my order. I repeated my order 3-4 times and every time I was put on hold by him 3 times. Look I arrive at the location and of course my order is wrong. That’s when he said very disrespectfully “you should’ve made sure the order was correct”…. SIR I SAID MY ORDER PLENTY of times. I told him he should’ve finished my order before taking a different one. He then walked away and I felt very disrespected. The lady who cooked was very respectful and apologized on his part. Besides the attitude from that young man the food was good.

Just as tasty as the ones I’ve purchased at their Commerce City locations. The sandwiches are huge and full of flavor. I also love their aguas frescas. You can’t go wrong here! Authentic and delicious. Not cheap but worth it.

I visit this restaurant at least once or twice a year.. honestly it never impressed me.. meat is tasteless veggies tasteless maybe the managers or owners should redesign the tortas and advice their cooks to use a little more seasoning so the food will taste better and customer will enjoy more. Got the norteña torta.. it was greasy and flavorless. Honestly food is way too overpriced for the product we consumed. Employees were friendly and helpful. Restaurant environment there were flies all over the place.. hopefully they can improve. But believe me other food options are way better. If you looking for mexican tortas.

I ordered the super Cubano and I’m pretty sure they screwed up my order. There was very little steak and beans, no ham, no Frank’s. It was mostly egg and bread. It was a good egg and bread sandwich though.

Tortas are big and very delicious. About 12 to 18 dollars i believe depending what you get. The tables are OK . Wish the seats were a little comfy but thats ok. Will come again.

Amazing spot for an authentic torta. Staff are so nice and made us a vegetarian option. The large juice is pricey but worth it. Highly recommend, will be back again!!

Love the tortas here. They haven’t let us down since we started going there a couple of weeks ago. Thanks guys.

Update: today they let me down. They made my torta with barely any meat, and one slice of avocado for the whole torta. Then they put it on the bottom of the bag with a heavier torta on the top, so mine was very flat. Oh and some guy gave us the extra sauce with an attitude when we asked for it nicely. So upset now.
