This placed used to be taco j’s years ago. Took my momma in here a couple times now. We like their daily specials on sundays and thursdays. Service this third time was above average. It was peaceful place to stop in and enjoy some food. Took a coworker in here and she really enjoyed it too. Only thing that I would change the salsa that comes with chips but otherwise happy. Thanks for having a local option on the south side that is clean and has fair prices

Neat little hole in the wall type restaurant with quiet atmosphere. Staff were very pleasant. Reasonable prices. (IF food was better) Food was bland overall. Meat in trio dip was not edible because it was too hard/impossible to chew.

The food was bland. Didn’t have much spice or flavor, but our waitress was nice. The margarita we got was too sugary and didn’t you couldn’t even taste the tequila in it. It was almost like a glorified icee. Not worth the money, in my opinion. There was only one other couple in the restaurant besides us, and sometimes it was hard to even get the waitresses attention. Overall, I gave this place a 3 mainly because of the blandness of the food.

I was in the area and decided to stop in for a meal. I ordered the Three Taco combination plate with birria tacos, an Asada Burrito, and the Mango Margarita. The birria tacos were pretty good, and the sauce had decent flavor. The Asada Burrito lacked a little flavor for my taste, and the Mango Margarita was decent as well.

I really want to like this place because it is in my neighborhood and the staff is nice. But their food is just never good. We gave it several tries, but it’s always seems to be worse than the previous visit. The food always comes out bland and/or with a weird aftertaste. Just really underwhelming. You can get better food for the same or less money. Disappointing 🙁
