I have eaten Columbian Cuisine a few times with some of my friends and they always said that what we were eating was nothing like the real food and we’d have to go to Columbia to get the real good stuff. Then one of the girls mentioned this new place and said THIS was IT. Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! I finally get it! (And since I can’t afford a trip to Columbia anytime soon) I am certainly glad to have found this gem.
Empanadas were to die for, I was glad to hear she had a few extra because we decided to clear her out and get some extra salsa. THE SALSA!!!! And I’m sad I didn’t get wings because I tried one of my friends and then was told I’d have to order my own! (We always split dishes when we go out together but none of us wanted to share this time it was too funny!) The rice and beans and the salsa were phenomenal, and I ate the rice pudding in my car so I didn’t have to share with my husband… oopsie, don’t tell 🙂 Next time I plan to try the beef skewer because SOMEONE refused to share and I know that meant it was perfection.
We plan to come again next Monday and I also want to bring some food for my kids, which is great because the menu has something for everyone. Love that you can preorder online.
Highly recommend, and the owner was super friendly and took the time to explain what was what so I would recommend even for someone new to this cuisine.

Las Rosas is an absolute gem! The food is beyond delicious. The beef skewers are so tender and bursting with flavor, and the chicken wings are cooked to perfection. I especially loved the mini whole potatoes, they’re seasoned perfectly and such a tasty surprise alongside the meal. And the salsa? I wish I could buy a jar to keep at home, it’s THAT good! Highly recommend this spot if you want fresh, flavorful food and a great dining experience. Check them out Monday’s at Catapult!
