I went last week for the first time. I was seated right away and immediately was given the chips and salsa as I looked over the menu. The chips and salsa were great!
I ended up ordering the Colorado burrito and the Ice cream and Churros. That was a bit of a mistake because the portions are HUGE (in a good way). The burrito and sides were good and the Churros were excellent.
The service was great, the waitress often checked in on me and asked how the food was. The service was fast and food was hot. The Cashier was friendly and greeted me immediately.
I would definitely recommend especially for a lunch break.

They have two restaurants and this is the one on Wadsworth. Becky and Maria handled my service perfectly. We had a miss-up on my order but they resolved it quickly and respectfully.
It was sure worth the wait their quality of food and friendliness is superb I highly recommend the place.

If you are looking for some made to order Mexican food that isn’t overpriced and tastes good then this is a place to try. We have stopped by a few times and have been happy with the food and service. The people here are friendly and prompt with their service. The place is brightly decorated with handcrafted tables and chairs. They also have great to-go deals if you are looking for something to take home. The prices are fantastic.

The California (chicken) burrito, certainly good. Good salsa, nice heat. Queso dip didn’t come with chips which seems an odd choice but it was ok on everything else.
The Birria tho. My goodness the amount of cloves in it made me feel like I was caught somewhere between a holiday ham and a Bath and Bodywork’s candle made out of cloves and something that may have been a pepper in its former life. At least that’s what the container smelled like when we opened it.
Just steer clear of it and you’ll be ok.

I went here because it was very close to home. I think it’s awesome they have a drive thru. I’ve never seen that with authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere was fun with lots of bright colors. The service was great. I was treated very well and they were very friendly . That’s what makes the next part of my review tough for me. Unfortunately the food was so-so. I had chicken enchiladas and a side pork tamale. The chicken was dry and tough. The sauces for both plates were bland. The rice and beans were good especially when I topped them with their salsa. The pork in the tamale was pretty good and juicy. The guacamole was the highlight. If I had some guacamole with every bite it made everything better.

I called and placed an order for 2 1/2 dozen bean and cheese burritos, some green chile and some rice for my mother’s 70th bday dinner with family. The order was ready at 530 pm as I requested, however after a long day at work, getting everything set for our family to come over and enjoy some smothered burritos for my mom’s bday. My family all stared getting food and sitting down to eat before they asked “what kind if burritos are these”? I said they are bean and cheese…. only to find out they gave me breakfast burritos!!! I tried to call and ask for a correction, I was placed on hold by a rude girl, who left me on the phone for 10 min before she just hung up on me…. then I tried calling back mind you I have 20 people eating the wrong burritos already at this point!!! Called back 4 times from my phone, they took the phone off the hook!!!! I was never rude to anyone or was not upset until this point…. so I packed what burritos I had left and drove to the restaurant. The girls who hung up on me saw me walk in and she rolled he eyes at me and said “I’ll get the manager” now i was mad!!!! The manager asked me where the rest if the burritos were, I said they are being eaten ….. then she asked why I didn’t call when I noticed the burritos were not correct.. I literally showed her my call log on my phone and told her that her employee took the phone off the hook to avoid me…she still took the burritos we brought back , instead of just letting us keep them…but i guess we were refunded, but only after I had to leave my mother bday party and go complain in front of a restaurant full of people….

We stopped in one Sunday to finally try out Las Potrancas and we were not disappointed. We habe one closer to us in Parker but have never been. Now Im going to HAVE to go again. Thisbülace seems like more people order to go than eat in. The place was hopping with non stop to go orders while we were there.
I got the Quesabirria tacos and his got enchiladas. I freaking LOVE Quesabirria tacos and will order them any chance I can. These were delicious and packed full of meat. And the consomme was thick and meaty, too. Often times I will get a quesavirria that seems like a watercolor broth that they just show the beef juices to, bit not the case here. It was so good! The staff was super duper friendly, too.

Updated Feb 2025 – came back to this restaurant for an early dinner. Good is still good and prices email reasonable. Service was not that attentive on this visit.

Decent spot, a bit smallish but hey it’s an authentic Mexican spot. Service was great food was good. I’m a bit picky about trying new things but that’s another can of worms. Parking is a plenty but all in all rad place in Arvada area.
