Really enjoyed this place! We had drinks, jalapeño and a cucumber margaritas, both excellent. We enjoyed the yummy chips and salsa, flavorful and fresh. We had Tony as our waiter, he was friendly, kept our table cleaned off as the meal progressed and was attentive. We had Pollo poblano, best I’ve had, and birria plate that my husband enjoyed, great corn tortillas. The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, lake views, and tables were bussed immediately after patrons left. Highly recommend that you visit, nice little treat for yourselves.

We came at 7 on a Friday. There was a few open tables, but it was raining so take it as you will. There is plenty of parking with all of the marina available nearby. The exterior and interior were clean and well decorated. When I found a spot of salsa on the table, they immediately cleaned the whole thing again.
The food was excellent. Quality meat, sauces, beans, and rice. My wife thought the salsa had a touch of heat, but not bad. The level of cilantro was subtle (which I appreciate). I had the Fajita burrito and was very satisfied. My wife liked the 3 sauces on the enchiladas Mexicanos, especially the verde.
My jalapeño margarita had good hunks of jalapeño, but it tasted more like the Mexican chili candy syrup that lined the rim. I would have preferred a lime and jalapeño flavor and left this candy flavor for the spicy mango margarita. The jumbo was a fair size. The regular 16 ounce was mason jar sized.
The staff was attentive and friendly. It was weird having them all sitting at the bar directly behind me since there isn’t an employee section and it was slow, but they weren’t annoying. Just strange to look around at the decorated have them all within arms reach.
Prices were a bit high, but I understand. The cost of this location is driving the prices. It wasn’t unreasonable at $16 for my burrito and $13 for my drink, but just be aware that you’re paying for a lakeside meal.
Overall, we were both very satisfied with our meal and experience and have nothing negative to say.

Came for lunch and sat on the patio and it was amazing! Margaritas were the best I’ve had in a long time and the tostada ceviche was the perfect meal! Will definitely be back many many times! Perfect addition to Branched Oak!

Salsa tasted like pizza sauce and the staff were rude. I called to place an order then my husband picks up and they insulted him in Spanish thinking he could understand what they said. Will not be returning. The one other time we had done a pick up order the food was blah.

Not horrible if you cant speak spanish. They will talk trash about you to eachother while youre ordering. Great way to treat paying customers. Food is decent but not worth the price.

What can I say I was at the lake and had Mexican food. Two of my favorite things! I had the Carne Asada tacos and they were in the top 3 I have ever had! The prices are just right and the atmosphere and service were perfect!
