I am mexican born and raised. I totally recommend this hidden spot! We had the deluxe enchiladas and mole enchiladas. Delicious!! Also, we added an extra enchilada to each order because we thought two were not enough ! Ufff.. we were wrong! We recommend Las Palmitas restaurant! Salud !!@

I am from Texas and I can honestly say that the Mexican food that I had at this restaurant was some of the best Mexican food that I have ever had. The chips and salsa were great. My chicken enchiladas were exceptional as well.
Our server was super efficient and our service was great. I definitely will return when in the area.

The service was great. We did not have to wait to be seated. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so we had the attention of the staff. We went for dinner around 5 pm. We are from Texas and this food was slightly different. We ordered bean & cheese nachos with beef. We took them as labeled in menu with onion and tomatoes on top with beef fajita. There was hardly any beans. But they were tasty. I ordered the carna asada plate. I was delighted with the flavor of the meat. The beans were too watery and lacked flavor. The rice was crunchy, which tasted like day old rice, to me. From Texas, our rice is soft and not dried out. Now this may be how it’s served here, and that’s ok, if thats how you like it. I prefer the soft, flavorful rice. This tasted hard and oily. We asked for a spicy sauce and that was on point. That salsa was delicious and spicy. I would say give it a try and see what you think. Since we are from Texas, our palates could desire a different flavor.

We love it here. Everyone is friendly. Everything on the menu has been amazing. Definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The atmosphere is so fun, it feels like sitting in a courtyard with the glass atrium overhead.

Great food and dining environment! Went during the afternoon and the way the setup is with all of the natural sunlight pouring in, it felt like a mini vacation. Very relaxing, very comfortable. Great vibes and they have my favorite style of Mexican food.

Our server was attentive and nice. Food was horrible. I got the steak rancho and it had such a strange flavor I only took 2 bites and couldn’t eat anymore. The only thing good was the chips and salsa. Way overpriced too. Average of $20 per plate for subpar food. I wont be going back

This is the 2nd time I’ve eaten at this Las Palmitas (I’ve eaten at the other one many times and had very good experiences most of the time) and it was an ok experience.
We were able to park close to the entrance and were seated very quickly. Our waitress came over and took our order in a reasonable time, but we didn’t get any chips and salsa. We finally asked for them and received them after getting our full order, which was about 20 minutes later (and pretty pointless, by that time).
Our food was pretty good, overall. My wife had a molcajete, which came out very hot, tasted good, and was exactly what she was looking for. My ribeye came and I thought it was well done, but as I got further into it,I found that they actually did cook it to a medium to medium rare, which is what I ordered…and quite impressive for a 1/4″ thick steak. Unfortunately, being so thin, it was pretty tough and stringy. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order it again. We also had to find our waitress and ask for refills of our drinks twice, although there were only a couple of other parties in the restaurant.
Overall, it wasn’t a particularly bad experience, in general, but just mediocre.

Really good authentic Mexican food, me and my family were on a trip to Colorado Springs from Houston Texas, we stopped there one day for dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive , and their food is really tasty. It has a Mexican Homestyle taste something that you can no longer find in the restaurants in Texas since it’s more Tex-Mex. I like Tex-Mex as well, but sometimes it’s good to find a hole in the wall place
That still serves real Mexican food. Never thought I would find it in Colorado. Glad I did.
