Randomly picked this place and started with chips and salsa. Nothing new just basic chips and salsa. For appetizers we did the fried calamari and I have to say it was delicious. I really liked the sauce they made with it. Don’t for get to ask for drink menu. Really good Margaritas! Wife had cucumber and i had mango chamoy. Both where very delicious. Food wise I ordered the mocajete carne and 1 chili relleno, and wife ordered carne Asada. I was really surprised and there is a reason why they are so busy. It was freaking delicious!!! If I am ever in longmont again I will most likely stop here to eat. I would reccomend eating here.

First time trying this restaurant. It was amazing. Food has amazing flavors. I had chicken and my husband had steak both were flavored so well. Also great prices and great service. I think best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time. Will be back for sure.

We really like Las Palmeras. Having been there twice, the service is always friendly and crisp. The portions are generous and the menu expansive. The guacamole appetizer is large and served with chips in a crispy taco shell like a taco salad.
There are many different “top shelf” tequilas to choose from and the mixes are just right.
The only reason I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish their salsa would be a little spicer. Being from Texas I like it “hot” but theirs is obviously homemade and very fresh.

We visited for the first time on Saturday, and it was so delicious. The queso dip was too expensive ( $8+ for very small portion) and just basic velveeta-style cheese melted, so I cannot recommend that, but the salsa, chips and large portions were amazing. I got a daily lunch special with a crispy relleno, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It was a great size, and I was able to eat a second meal off the leftovers. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, affordable Mexican restaurant. The staff was super nice. I believe our waitress was family to the owner. She was efficient, kind, and great to work with. We will definitely be back.

We have tried many Colorado Mexican restaurants & Palmeras is one of the best.
They serve on Friday, the best carnitas ever.
Also the menu prices are very reasonable.

Went to lunch with my sister and was impressed. It was her recommendation since she used to live in Longmont for years. I had a Mexican hamburger and she had a crispy chile relleno, both very delicious. I also has a couple margaritas and a shot of Patron, very good as well. Was seated promptly and received excellent service! Would definitely go back again.

We ate here in September 2024 and forgot to to post. Went back again last Sat and I seen this waiter in this post and that reminded me to post it asap. He wasn’t our waiter this time around, but i seen him laughing and having a good time and that is the kind of service you need. Having fun at work and believe me it was contagious. Everything about this place is always on par. The staff, good music, temperature inside is not freezing like most places, food is always delicious and they basically will accommodate to your needs. So yeah you definitely need to try this place! We go here tons if we know we want good mexican food/ service and so should you.

I found Las Palmeras to be exceptional in all aspects of its operations. The service was exemplary. My server was Brenda. I was greeted immediately by her upon being seated. Brenda was professional, engaging, and provided expedient service. I noted that additionally she appeared to a manager of sorts-directing and guiding fellow employees in their duties. There was no official “Manager” on site, but Brenda had everything under control. The food was warm and tasty. The customers were in a great mood, and the atmosphere was very positive. All in all-a great ding experience.

Love las palmeras. Whole family comes from all around to gather here. We grew up on it. Good people, Yesi took care of us today. Highly recommend.
