Being a native Texan I have struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that I really like. Las Palmeras is the best so far. The food is delicious and the service friendly and crisp. The waitress even had the chef make a special combination dinner at my request.
This was the best enchilada and ground beef taco that I have found.
The Patron margarita was excellent, as well.
Highly recommended and will be back.

Overall, the place is about a four depending on my first visit. I placed a pickup order through DoorDash and noticed they completely took off the option for special instructions. They also don’t give any option for removing simple things like toppings. So, if you’re like me(doesn’t like onions), you’ll have to either just call to order pickup over the phone or make a DoorDash pick up and still call to let them know your preferences. Second thing is they only give you a single tortilla on each Taco, usually never notice how much this matters because most places just do it but they did not and the tortilla was kinda soggy on bottom and just ripping through with the first bite and everything just falls out. Other than that. That taste was very good of the meat. Very good portions(lots of meat)! The red and green salsa was also very good as well!

I recently went in to order breakfast burritos, and finished ordering at 11:02am. Because it was after 11am when I paid, the price of the burritos went up by $2 each. They’re a good value before 11am, not at all if you order at 11:02am. I strongly recommend Abuelitas instead, on Lashley and 3rd if you want an amazing breakfast burrito without silly pricing games.

I stop here for breakfast many of my work days. For a long time I ordered a simple bean&cheese burrito. After months of eating their bean&cheese, I branched out, and oh my goodness am I glad I did. Their tacos=AMAZING! Their fully stacked burritos=SO GOOD! The meat is tender and flavorful, never hard or chewy like many other fast Mexican joints. Everything I’ve eaten here is fantastic.

On my way to Boulder, I dropped by and was AMAZED BY THE GREEN CHILE. It is hands down the best tasting and most perfectly spicy green chile I have ever had(I got the medium). The staff were also great and ridiculously friendly. Overall, my experience was a good one. I will definitely be dropping back by the next time I’m in town and I encourage everyone to give this place a shot.

I found a hair in my breakfast burrito. Simple fix, wear a hairnet, it was a loooong wavy hair. So its obvious someone isn’t enforcing safe food handling practices.

Now this was a wonderful taco salad! Generous size, fresh crispy shell that flaked easily as I broke off pieces as I ate. Flavorful beans and beef! I got mild yet it was spicy enough to offer such delicious flavor. The guacamole didn’t have that slightly bitter taste like some, it also tasted very fresh.
The side of rice was so good too!
I came in after work, ready to go home and I was not disappointed whatsoever with the speed they had my order. Friendly and highly efficient service.
The best part is the price is very reasonable and worth every penny. This is a great place to go when you crave delicious Mexican food!

Breakfast burrito to-go was very tasty. A reasonable size, and reasonable pricing. I was bummed that there was no hot sauce included in the bag, and when I asked for some, I was informed they were $0.50 each for a ramekin. As I had no cash and didn’t want to bother using a card, I declined. The nice folks behind the counter ended up gifting me one for the four burritos I bought, which I appreciated. The hot sauce was very tasty, and delightfully spicy.
I imagine the hot sauce is made from scratch, and certainly not free for them to produce, but it felt like buying an airline ticket, and having to pay for a carry-on bag. Like, can we just raise the price of the burrito enough to recoup the salsa cost and include one with every burrito? It felt kind of nickel and dimey to me.
