I never went inside. I went through the drive-through, but I was very extremely disappointed. I’ve only been at this location one time and I had a great experience and that was when they first opened up now you go through and you get the wrong order. I ordered a Beef fajita plate I ended up with chicken the chicken and the guacamole must’ve been made the day before leftovers or even two days before because it was gross and smelled. Then. tortilla soup I ordered was old as well. First it was cold, and the cheese was like balls and clumps of cheese. It wasn’t even melted or anything, and the cilantro that they put in there was old and sour smelling and tasting. I don’t know what kind of rice they use but it to me it was like minute rice it was not good at all, and I called and had to leave a message for the manager as I paid $25 and some change and I looked at my charge and they charged me $30.11 so they added an extra five dollars to the bill when it wasn’t $30.11 it was $25 and change after I called and complain and waited for somebody to call me back. I was mixing through the tortilla soup to see what else was disgusting and there was a long brown hair in my soup I did not call him back as I’m waiting for them still to call me, but it was horribly disgusting. I would not recommend this place at all. Maybe they cook it Friday and Saturday and they use it all for Sunday. I don’t know the tortillas smell like really bad stinky feet so I couldn’t even bring it to my mouth to eat it because of the smell don’t go. UPDATE: I’ve been throwing up since early morning hours. I’m still sitting here with massive cramps in my upper stomach and diarrhea. Do not go to this place. The food is very Dangerous.

Nothing Express about this place. Been waiting almost an hour for my order. Dining area is not even that busy. Seems like only one person is running the register, cleaning tables and bringing out the orders. All we ordered were bean and cheese tacos. A few others are waiting ridiculous amounts of time just like we are. Drive thru cars keep getting served while we continue to wait. This is ridiculous.

Exactly what you’d expect from this awesome chain of restaurants. VERY good food. Super fast, excellent quality.

And, yes, this is a sit-in restaurant as well, along with a drive-thru window. Awesome.

This was right before it officially opened up. I passed by here many times before they were even constructing the building and had got excited when I saw a Lad Palapas coming soon sign. Fast forward and I had noticed they had a sign up saying “Opening Soon!” Even more exciting. One night, I am passing by with my 2 year old heading into San Antonio to get dinner, and notice the lights, TVs on, and a bunch of people inside so I made a U turn and pulled right in! The people had drinks and what looked like food, there looked to be staff, so I got out, got my son out of his car seat and walked to the first door on the right… locked. Almost all of them looked up at me with my son in my arms as if I was intruding on their family dinner. Still staring at me, I decide to try the next door… locked. Confused and still being stared at like I am a nuisance, I put two and two together that they aren’t officially open yet and put my son back in the van and sit there looking up restaurants in San Antonio again. (Keep in mind, they look as though they are open, no signs on the door stating that they are closed). As I am sitting there, a guy in a UPS uniform comes up (looks like he just got off work) and tries the door and walks off seeing that it is locked. As he is leaving, another car pulls up and two ladies get out. They do the same. As they try the door, a taller white complected man opens the door and states that they aren’t officially open yet. As the woman turn around, I say to the man from my car that they should put signs up stating thar they are closed for it looks like they are open and that I felt incompetent when they just looked at me from inside the way they did. He says, “That’s too bad” (sarcastically). I sensed the sarcasm and vowed never to patronize this location. I am glad to see that they have a lot of negative reviews. I still drive past this location to go to San Antonio almost every day, never giving them a dime of my money. I extremely dislike the attitude they gave me even before they open.

Every single time we go thru the drive thru here for Piccadillo tacos they are soaked and dripping with grease. We will even ask them to please drain the meat first but they don’t. Plus the portions are so much smaller than any other location I have been to. This location needs more training as this location never lives up to usual Las Palapas quality.

Dirty and after we ordered it took 50 mins before we got all of our food. And you call the a EXPRESS. Hahaha. Horrible. Will NEVER give this place my business again. It’s like if you know your understaffed, Tell the customers before we order. Don’t talk our order and make people wait like this. Now it’s been and hour and I’m STILL waiting for some of my order

Great place to bring family for dinner night. I went in after school adn work with my 2 kids and they loved it as well as I did. My son loves the cheese enchiladas. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food came out pretty quick and was fresh. Establishment is very clean which is very refreshing when a lot of places are not so meticulous on cleanliness.

Third trip here at this location. First two times were great. Third time this time ordered the chicken Flauta plate as usual. Food was cold, flautas
We’re very very skimpy almost no salad and almost no Guacamole on take out plates! Rice was not hot and beans had weird flavor i don’t remember from.
This restaurant. Very disappointed as our order was over 35.00 for two afternoon meals. Corporate if you’re reading this apparently a lot of people are complaining about this particular location. Seguin location had the best plates every time over the years. Probably won’t go back to this location unless I read major changes have been made. And when is it customary to ask for a tip in a drive through?
