Saw the great Google reviews and wanted to try it out. Experience was great! Greeted right away with a very helpful waiter that helped my picky gluten free tastes find a great option, the fish on special for the night. The special was Seabass grilled over shrimp mashed potatoes and covered in pesto sauce. It all tasted so fresh and delicious! Also tried the oysters on half shell, and they were the biggest I’ve seen, and delicious and fresh too. Husband loved his chilli rellenos stuffed with tuna and shrimp. Chips have a delicious spice sprinkled on them, and come with their special pepper sauce my husband loved! Too spicy for me. Such a great spot, great ambience, worth the extra walk from the marina. Live music on weekends, fun cover band aired during the week when I visited.

I’d been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally made it tonight. I’m glad I did because I was very happy and impressed!
I ordered the fried red snapper … it was very tasty. Personally, I like my fried fish extra crispy, so I should’ve asked for it to be fried a little longer, but even as it came, it was delicious. I also asked for extra butter and garlic, which they happily provided.
On top of that, I had the grilled shrimp, and they were excellent. The flavor was spot-on. The pricing here is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot and I’ll be back for sure!

This place is absolutely amazing! It was a place we walked by several times before finally going in. We were met by our host Pancho! Who was friendly, funny, thoughtful and amazingly kind! We ended up going 3 more times during our stay. Trying something new each time. As it never disappointed! It was Fresh, hot and the flavors were beyond expectations! I recommend this place if anyone is a seafood fanatic and doesn’t mind walking away from the popular area.
In all seriousness, if you enjoy seafood, this place will not disappoint. It is a small tucked away establishment. Quiet the staff and everyone are friendly. And the food quality just goes to show how serious their chefs are in preparing their food!

I have had the pleasure of making a visit twice. the most recent was in June 2025. Pancho Pedroza, was our host for the evening and he and his staff were absolutely wonderful. We were welcomed immediately and promptly taken to our table. there was live music as we entered that continued for the duration. the food is some of the best you’ll have while anywhere around the marina. fantastic local flavors, wonderfully presented food and drink.
the drink shown is an espresso martini, which my wife ranks as the best we have ever had, and that holds true over two visits multiple years apart.
we simply cannot recommend this place enough, and we will return anytime we are able to visit in the future.
visit was 5th-13th/June/2025

Las Mariscadas in Cabo is our go-to for unforgettable seafood and is just a 5 minute drive from #CaboPalmaBlanca. The carpaccio is fresh and delicate, melting in your mouth. Ostiones frescos en su concha taste straight from the ocean, crisp and briny. The ostiones Rockefeller are rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The grilled pulpo a la parrilla with bone marrow was an unbelievable standout, tender and smoky. The whole snapper, grilled and slathered in garlic salsa, paired perfectly with fresh corn tortillas. Their homemade salsas are some of the best around, adding a vibrant kick to every dish. Hands-down our favorite restaurant in the square, it’s the spot we hit every time for guaranteed delicious food. #FreshSeafood #CaboSanLucas

Avoid the fried red snapper which the Google AI suggested is a highlight here. We got ours and it was overcooked so it was very dry inside. It was unseasoned so it had no flavor unless you added your own salt lime or whatever. We got upcharged for a table service charge, a side of rice (which we received, but didn’t order and thought was included), and water (if you want water, they will bring you Evian as an upcharge). Our server was fine, but the other staff stood around the host desk and stared at us the whole time, including while we ate. Overall, I think there’s much better choices for seafood in Cabo.

Hey, that Alfonso (Poncho) did an amazing job! He looked after us so well from the moment we got there, always paying attention to what we needed. The food was delicious – highly recommend it! We’ll definitely be back. And the prices were totally fair.

From the outside, it’s incredibly unassuming—no flashy signs, no big crowds—just a quiet, modest place you might walk right past if you didn’t know better. But the moment the seafood arrived, it was clear this restaurant is something special.
Everything tasted unbelievably fresh, like it had come straight from the ocean that morning. The flavors were clean and confident without trying too hard, and each dish had that perfect balance of simplicity and skill. It’s the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite because you weren’t expecting it to be that good.
The service matched the vibe: friendly, relaxed, and genuine. Nothing pretentious, nothing rushed. Just people who clearly care about what they’re serving.
If you love seafood and appreciate places that let the food speak for itself, this little hidden gem is absolutely worth seeking out.

In a touristy town like Cabo San Lucas, I simply don’t expect the best quality and service. But, in general, Cabo has been great, and Las Mariscadas is our favorite thus far. The experience starts with a great staff and continues throughout the meal. We simply loved the special tuna sashimi appetizer – plenty for 2 to share. Then my son and I each had the special seabass – although his was with crab and mashed potatoes and mine was with shrimp. Both were excellent. Recommended by our wonderful waiter. I hate to say it, but 5 stars isn’t enough. The restaurant was not too crowded for a Saturday night (of course it is December) and the ambience is great, kinda beachy, kinda tiki-bar but not tacky. Thanks Las Mariscadas!
