Make every moment special at Buck’s Restaurant and Bar. Established in 1992, Buck wanted to create an experience for guests that they would never forget. So he created his very own “moon garden,” filling the restaurant and bar with white flowers against dark green walls and twinkling candles. Buck then crafted a fine continental menu, selected artfully mismatched china, and provided nightly live piano music to create the perfect fine dining experience. Buck’s Restaurant was born. Buck’s is located in the heart of Old Louisville and in the historic Mayflower building. It is the place to impress for special occasions, birthdays, and anniversaries.

Luxurious, romantic Continental dining amid displays of flowers & live piano music.

An absolutely beautiful evening with my husband and two of my sisters at Buck’s Restaurant. Our dinners were absolutely delicious. The service was great. Atmosphere was beautiful, comfortable and an absolute joy with Reggie as the Pianist. We enjoyed music from our childhood like songs from The Sound of Music, The Peanuts theme song, Joys of Christmas and so many musicals that just made you smile as you enjoyed you meal and conversations. We highly recommend Buck’s to all especially those looking for a wonderful date night. Everyone was so kind and welcoming.

Went to Buck’s tonight for our 50th wedding anniversary with friends who had been there before. It was our first time dining at Buck’s. The whole night was wonderful! The whole staff went above and beyond to make the night perfect. The food was perfect, drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere very romantic. Miss Embry was the perfect waitress. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is romantic ! The food is excellent , the flowers are beautiful and it just has charm. The service was 10/10 and the piano player did a good job also. The noise was quiet in our section and there was plenty of seating. If in town I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I’d give it 4 1/2 stars. Unfortunately, my ribeye was medium instead of medium rare. Service was perfect. The ambiance was clearly meant to support our dining. Gorgeous white flowers, live piano. My Paper Plane was yummy. Just right.

Buck’s turns every evening into a celebration! Not only is the food amazing, best seafood chowder I’ve ever eaten, but the impeccable service transports you into dinner the great Gatsby himself. Truly my favorite upscale dining experience in the city.

The beef wellington was a huge disappointment. I knew something was up when they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked. It was a thick uncooked pastry, it was like beef pot pie minus all vegetables. I was expecting a real beef wellington. I liked the wedge salad and bread. I didn’t like the bread pudding, it looked like some dropped it and through it on a plate. It didn’t have much flavor and no ice cream. Our waitress was a little lacking with service but she was friendly. A tall curly hair gentleman assisted where she didn’t perform well. Restaurant looked vintage, I liked the atmosphere. It was packed for day after valentines. Hard to say if we will return.
