The salsa is thin, but fine. The chips are crispy, warm, and flavorful. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo and my husband the Molcajete Ranchero. Both were delicious, but the Molcajete Ranchero had a unique flavor because of the cactus. It was wonderful! We will be back again.

Pretty tasty, good portion sizes. We were pretty much ignored by the staff. It almost felt like they only wanted to serve their regulars/locals. We sat ourselves and had to chase down menus after waiting a while without getting any and had to ask for refills. Once we were served, it was yummy and we were very full afterward! Would stop again if I was going that way, even with the oddities in service.

Local diner, have eaten here quite a few times. The food is ehh. It’s alright but I wouldn’t write home about it, ya know? Service is always good, nice and friendly staff. If you are getting off the river, it’s easy to just walk up and get some food.

Great place for your typical Midwestern Mexican restaurant experience, clean and quick. Chips tasted a little stale. But everything else was above the norm for this type of restaurant in the Midwest and great considering it’s in such a small town. Definitely reccomend

Some of THE BEST Mexican food we’ve had! We loved everything we got! Super friendly staff (our waitress, Thalia, was awesome), excellent food, super clean and family friendly!! I wish we lived closer…we’d eat here weekly!!

Saw good reviews, but we were disappointed. I asked for fruit punch or fruit soft drink. The waitress said they didn’t have any. I ordered a taco salad without sour cream or cilantro. She brought the salad out with sour cream and asked if that was okay. I said no, so she brought one without. There was chopped cilantro under the lettuce. On the way out, I noticed fruit punch, lime, and orange Jarritos in a cooler. I will not recommend this place if you can’t do a taco salad or know what soft drinks you have. Salsa was watery.

All the reviews was amazing but I’m thinking because we can a hour before they closed we received poor service and to top it off the food was cold the server did not no the menu what I ordered was not what she described! Then we was told someone would come out to replace the food an we was just avoided!! So much for a stuffed burrito only filled half way with meat an we was looked at crazy when we asked for another round of chips an salsa even though the chips was old an no salt we will not be back !

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The whole family was impressed. Well worth a short swing off of 60 if you’re passing through or if exploring the wonderful parks in the area. Recommend the tacos!
