Amazing food and great atmosphere! Las Legends de Mexico is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — you can tell everything is made with love. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were delicious, and the vibe was fun and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Mexican flavor and a great time, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!

The food is not good, l am really sorry to say but it is the truth, out of every thing we had, l just can say that the enchiladas and the 3 leches cake were good, actually the cake was excellent, churros were raw in the inside.
We were 4 people, ordered Nachos supremo, they were bland ,not really a good bled of favors. Guacamole was fine but we came across the big pit of the avocado inside!!!
Also ordered alambre, was dry. Cecina, dry too and supposed to come with queso frito that l didn’t see or if it was there l couldn’t even identify, no taste at all. Also a cemita Cubana, and it turned To be a huge kind of burnt bun stuffed with a lot of things like tasteless cheese bacon and some meat.
Most of the dishes served with bland rice and an ok refried beans.
The restaurant itself is cute and colorful.
I gave this place a try but no more.

Shredded melted cheese for plain queso dip. What in the world. Never seen this anywhere else. Sent the picture to others all were baffled. we sent it back, obviously. Stopped in from out of town, looking for good authentic Mexican food and wow, won’t be back. Enchilada chicken meat was very plain and tasted like it was cooked from frozen. I just kept it, trying not to make too much of a fuss. Guy offered a soup but no thank you. Could only taste the Enchilada sauce, which was good just could mostly taste heat. Guy offered a soup but no thank you. Street tacos were tasteless as well without some sort of sauce. Rice was very plain, tasted like vegetable broth. This experience is now a joke in the household. “Don’t get Mexican food in New Jersey.”

My partner and I have gone to the location in Boonton but they recently closed. After PT my partner took me to the Parsippany location because I was craving some good salsa! As usual, we got the Nacho Surpreme with Al Pastor and it did not disappoint. We were able to finish it all. My partner got the burrito grande and loved it. I got the Parrillada Mixta (Mixed Grill) which had so much meat! It came with chorizo, chicken, steak, pork, and shrimp! I loved all the meats. They were juicy and full of flavor! Tender. The tres leches was AMAZING. So rich and moist. The sauces on the side were a wonderful touch. The portions were huge and we had plenty of leftovers. The staff is so nice. 100% come again!

I ordered tacos de carne and a Pozole and the tacos carne was so salty I didn’t really get to enjoy it the tortilla was very soggy as well. The pozole…. Was very disgusting. I was excited because it was my first time trying Pozole and I was very disappointed. The broth was very watery but spicy. The flavors were not there. My experience is a 3/10

Came here on a busy weekend, they did so many take out orders in the short time I was there I am impressed. Food was good, alpastor and carnitas were top favorite and the chicken was grilled well. The cheese on the generous portion of nachos was the only thing I didn’t like, but the carnitas was so good I didn’t mind. The torta sandwich was huge as was the burrito. So we were able to take some home. Would come back again or get take out.

Idk how this place has close to 5 stars but for what we ordered… my final conclusion was that the food was DRY AND LACKED FLAVOR!! My husband and I ordered a Cuban Cemitas ( which is a LARGE sandwich for $14) and tacos that came for 4 for $11.. we have tried most of the Mexican restaurants in Parsippany and this place we would like to give another chance but if the flavor of the dishes taste like what we recently ordered … then it would be a no go… the sandwich was PACKED with meats, Mexican cheese and avocado.. but it was so dry I couldn’t eat the rest because I filled myself up with water after each bite due to the dryness of the meat and thickness of the bread.. the tacos needed a beat more seasoning and the side order of rice and beans were Luke warm not even hot.. plus we hardly got any beans in our dish.. … maybe this place only has certain dishes that taste good but I wouldn’t recommend the ones we purchased . I tried this restaurant for lunch. I got the Bistec ranchero lunch special, it was delicious and I was really satisfied with it. It was a generous portion and I was full afterwards. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was really friendly and kind. The restaurant was clean and organized and I loved admiring the beautiful Mexican artwork everywhere while enjoying my meal. I would recommend this restaurant and I look forward to returning soon.
