Wonderful service and great food tonight. I had the chicken tortilla soup and my spouse had the El Patron (chicken, chorizo and shrimp with rice and cheese). Guacamole disappeared before I got a photo! It was excellent.

We ordered take out and the food would have been good. We order extra cheese didn’t get it si we had to go back and get it, but the cheese was watered down bad. You have to pay $1.50 for the extra cheese but 9 times out of 10 you have to go back because they don’t add it. This time they watered it down and it made the food just awful.

Most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area! Their food had a nice balance of flavor with every bite. Once I had their salsa, I was hooked. Their Mexican style rice was great, along with the chorizo that I had with my plate. Their house hot sauce was killer. Spicy yet flavorful. I could literally drink it! I would definitely make a 40min drive to eat here again.

The food, while hot, was lacking in all aspects of anything likable unless salt is what you’re looking for. While I was mildly disappointed after the first time we ate there, we feel every restaurant deserves a second chance. Our order seemed to be more of an inconvenience than anything to the “server” working the register, of course that was after I declined to tip her for doing literally nothing. The food was slightly better, yet still incredibly salty and dry. We will not be returning.

A welcome addition to the area, that’s for sure! Excellent service, excellent prices, and excellent food, the rarely-found restaurant trifecta. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, right down to the obligatory chips and salsa. Do yourself a favor and stop by here instead of the usual chain stores.

Very tasty food, this was my first time in the area and this food did not disappoint. Staff very friendly, spacious location, we didn’t wait long for food and it all tasted great!
Nice spot to stop for a quick bite.

Was there the other day. The gloppy cheese topping was too salty to eat, the filling was tasteless, no seasoning at all. Unfortunately, the chips were rancid too. It was as if zero effort was put into preparation.

This Mexican restaurant in Ravenswood started out as a Food Truck. Now they are located on Main Street, its narrow but they have about 12 tables. There food is good. I love their street tacos.
Their refried beans and Mexican rice is really good also. I don’t eat there, I usually get it to go.
I just wish the tortilla chips were thin and crispy, a little too thick for me but I love their salsa.
No parking places but there is on the street parking.

STOP what your doing & GO NOW!! Absolutely delicious! Exactly what we wanted but actually better We got a Blue Hawaiian & my fiance got a Bahama Mama. The drinks were tasty and well made andcame in these cute but good sized, sturdy, Tiki glasses! The whole restaurant was SUPER clean and fresh, very comfortable and modern. We live in Kansas City but visit Ravenswood often as his family is from there. I absolutely love it there. We had tried Fajitas food truck when it was down at the riverfront for a while a year or 2 back. His parents had tried it and loved it and we went when we were on a visit. It was delicious then just limited to a food truck. We were so excited when we saw they had moved up to actually moving into a building space! We didn’t get to try them the last time or 2 we were in but so happy we got to this time. We will be visiting at least once from now on every time we come in. There is no comparison! I am sooooo sorry I dont have pictures of our food. It was picturesque and perfect! We got Chicken Chimichangas with rice and beans and sour cream with lettuce and tomatoe…wooow! It was exactly like you’d want it to look I promise ❤️. After sitting talking at the table I mentioned wondering what shrimp chimichanga/mexican food would taste like because I had never had mexican seafood. He ended up getting a “Texas” Chimichanga that was steak, chicken, and shrimp!!!!! He loved it but offered it to me so I immediately traded him and it was awesome!! Getting this next time GUARANTEED!!! Thank you fajitas for breaking me in to Mexican and Seafood together! Cant wait to try more!!!
