Believe it or not, when you pull into the little shoppette, they’re actually open. The tint on the windows makes it look closed down. It was a Thursday evening for this visit, and it was completely dead. The server was a bit pointed when I kept asking what things were, apologizing that I knew very little Spanish. This part kind of soured the experience.
I ordered three orders of mofongo, tostones, and maduros frita Friday to go for the family. The wait was about 15-20min. The food itself looked pretty good
Price was IMO a bit high at around $100 for what was ordered and received. Biggest word of advice when ordering is know they apparently automatically add 15% gratuity to every order, so don’t get caught off guard.
If you’re looking for some decent ethnic food, give it a try. I won’t frequent this location again, but it was a nice change of food culture to try out.

Dominican restaurant; you can order all kinds of food here. At night it turns into a disco or club. If you go, arrive early because it gets crowded.

Let me tell you about this place I found this place looking for Hispanic food there’s literally not a real representation of Hispanic food in nola other than Mexican food . But ok let’s go this place it’s hiding u can’t see the name of the restaurant when u driving windows are extremely tinted, we walked in and there was only one server , there it’s a bunch of items that they dont have on the menu we waited for about one hour in a half for our food we ordered churrasco wich it was not churrasco and we were charge for that it was expensive for no reason and the food was not it

I paid $15 for the fried pork alone and I got 6 pieces of overcooked cut up pork. The food was so bland I questioned whether I had Covid. $35 a waste and the most bland Latin American food I’ve had like.. ever. So disappointed. If you want frequent customers do better. I mean the beans were soooo bland.

The food is delicious… The service could do better. They take a long time with the orders, are under staffed and the cleanliness could improve. Still, the food is so good I’ll be coming back for more.

I liked the Mofongo that I ordered it was soft and had flavor. The fried chicken was also good. I think the place just needs to tidy up a it more. But besides that everything cool.

Not what I expected it to be, I wouldn’t recommend this unless you want a hole in the wall place, it’s a club that serves food. I wouldn’t waste the time. I had high hopes but it is 11:19pm maybe it’s something else during the day.

Food isn’t the best but its not bad either, this isn’t NY. If you want to get an insight of how carribean-domincan food taste like come here and try it out. Customer service is always on point, I don’t expect any less from dominican people they are naturally happy people.
