This is the last time I enter this place ! I do not recommend this store ESPECIALLY if you have children. My children and I arrived at this store and I was highly disappointed by the mouths of two of the workers. I found this very unpleasant to hear and my children did as well. The woman who I believe is the manager or a lead was not being professional whatsoever. Every so often she would cuss and cuss with her coworker and on top of that had myself waiting before she even asked what I would like. Her coworker with the braids also was unprofessional going back and forth with the woman using profound cuss words in a store full of customers yet to be attended and unheard. The woman in front with the black hair served myself while she took care of an online order and on top of that apologized for such environment which I applaud her for. I don’t recommend this store as a family friendly store. If you can grab something else to eat go to that store !!!

I have been to Jersey Mike’s a couple of times before today, this was my first visit to this location; doubt I’ll go back to any locations now. First, the man who took our order kept slicing meat for online orders as he asked us what we wanted, had to repeat to him several tines because he was so distracted. Another employee was assembling sandwiches, he seemed nice. He put bacon on a sandwich he was making, realized there was to be no bacon on it, returned it to the bacon tub even though there was a good amount of mayo now on it. I utilized the men’s room, it was so filthy that if I urinated on the floor no one would of noticed. There was deep old yellow stains on the toilet seat, the floor and sink were filthy and stained too. Soap dispenser empty. Returning to the restaurant it was evident that the floors hadn’t been swept or moped in at least a day. All the table tops were dirty and in need of a wiping down. The ceiling vent was black as was much of the ceiling around it. The trash receptacle for customer use was over flowing, garbage was teetering on the edge, ready to spill on the floor. My wife and I each got a drink from the cooler. The light was on inside but the drinks were room temperature. The sandwiches were good. As we drove away we joked about our experience, both hoping we don’t get food poisoning.

poor kitchen management you would think there would be some organization to the staffing and positions and have a dedicated allergen station for gluten-free sandwiches this was not even for me I’m a doordasher I’m complaining because they the staff pushed the gluten-free sandwiches to the end of the ticket line during a lunch rush giving over my ticket because of the gluten allergy they should have a dedicated station for gluten-free sandwiches it only makes sense it’s a very common allergy and you’re a sandwich shop it’s pretty simple to just put one person on the register one person bagging up the orders one person taking the orders and one person making the orders every time I have an experience like this I go on indeed I find the position of the general manager and I apply for it just so I can get an interview to speak to the owner Three different dashers came in after me and left before me with their order because their order was not pushed to the back of the ticket line completely unprofessional I actually wanted to get a sandwich from this place the BLT looked phenomenal but I will never know this experience has soured me for all Jersey Mike locations I hope somebody eventually reads this review and takes some action for the Johnson Atwood Ave location right next to Baja’s and Starbucks and McDonald’s and Taco Bell there’s a million and raising Cane’s is a million other options this place should not be substandard serving people

I usually have a good experience when I come here but today the woman making the grinders was rude when I asked for 2 -2 for 2’s. She she can’t do that because she’ be there all day. Lol. I’m okay with paying full price for the 2nd part of the order and I did. Lol. I still ordered another giant sandwich plus the 2 for 2 sandwiches. Even the guy that was next to her made a face because he realized she was being rude too. So she had to make the sandwiches regardless of how I was charged. That was silly for her to respond the way she did to me and she is at work … so yes… she is there to work. lol

Last week we had the absolute worst experience at your Johnston, RI store on Atwood Ave. I have ordered here plenty of times with small issues here and there but this was absolute absurdity. We placed our pickup order on our way home from a roadtrip at 11:30 am on a Saturday. We arrived around 11:45 (which was when we were told the food would be ready). My husband asked about the food and was told “they were just waiting on two subs” which is a ridiculous response from people who are making the subs. There were only two people working and they proceeded to serve approximately 10 walk-in customers quickly before only finishing our sandwiches when we asked again why it was taking so long. We didn’t leave the restaurant until approximately 12:10, which is almost a half hour after we were told the food would be ready. The restaurant was also a dirty disaster in the back room. Lettuce and tomatoes all over the floor, as well as garbage. I had my two year old son in the car who was crying the whole time. I order frequently from Jersey Mike’s and this is by far the worst experience we have had with any restaurant in a long time!

Today I experienced very rude behavior at this location…The manager was gossiping about other workers and it was very unprofessional. I usually come here about once or twice a week, but the last two times I’ve come in, the manager was crying, and I can never seem to get in and get my food without walking out feeling terrible. I don’t often come here to get my Jersey mike’s, the crew is always welcoming and ask what I want to order. My order is a turkey club lite lettuce, Xtra onion, tomato, mayo, pickles and Xtra bacon. What ends up happening is to much lettuce and just a few onions. I usually have to remind them no juice and put Xtra bacon which I’m happy to pay the Xtra for, its always crispy so gimme more lol. Don’t get me wrong the crew is awesome but sometimes I have to remind them less lettuce more onions.
