Great atmosphere overall! The building is nice and has history, it’s interesting to look at all the painting and artifacts they have. They were having a band playing, though unfortunately sound was not reaching back area where we were seated.

My first time walking around the tourist area of Palm springs and we stopped here. The outside patio/bar area with live music looked inviting, though we sat inside due to the summer weather. The service was friendly and good. The food was Ok. I had the shredded beef chimichanga. It was decent, but lacked something. The nachos were OK, though I feel the quality of chips could have been better. The atmosphere drew us in. If they upped their game in the flavor category they would get 4 or 5 stars.

The food was pretty good. The restaurant is beautiful reminds me of an Italian Villa in Rome. There was live bands on Saturday. If you seat outside there’s no waiting.

We ate here at the absolute most perfect hour. 7pm. The sun had not set but went behind the mountain, creating a perfect dusk. We had great east. Chunky avocado dip. Tortilla soup. Taco bowls. Ate outside with a band. Dancing. Livy atmosphere. Great.

Today was our 5th or 6th visit to Las Casuelas, in the heart of the iconic S. Palm Canyon Drive strip. We were drawn to the place on our first visit, 3 years ago – it was the live music! We’ve enjoyed listening and dancing to the 4-piece band(s) that play popular songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Fun and busy restaurant. We didn’t have reservation so we went to their outdoor bar and quickly found seats. The bar is right in front of the live band so it’s even nicer than their tables. You can’t get food at the bar, only a few snacks such as chips and quac and soup. I highly recommend this for the night times.
