Great atmosphere but very sub par food. Had my staple carnitas and it was dry and sparse. Salsa was decent and chips were crisp. Margs were okay.

My son and daughter in law came into town and my husband and I took them out to dinner to Las Casuelas, La Quinta, CA., but what a mistake that was. There was a 35 to 45 minute wait to get a seat, the when we finally got a table it took another 30 minutes to order a drink. They came in with the wrong drinks (Margaritas) they also tasted bad. It took sometime to order food. Also wrong dishes & had to be sent back, food was cold. service was lousy. We were very dissapointed. After paying for a high bill I asked if I could speak to the manager and she was not very nice either. Bottom line is we are definitely not going back to any of their locations. long wait, bad drinks and lousy cold food.

I have eaten here for over ten years. The food has always been good. The spices in the food are great. However, a few years ago management changes occurred and service quality declined. I think there was a move toward younger less experienced servers. The result was less personal service and sloppy attitudes. I hope the owner’s can learn.

Went there for dinner last night and it was packed due to holiday week. Clearly the restaurant is not capable of running a restaurant where all there tables are filled. We waited for 30 min to get someone at our table to order drinks (we should have left), and another 20 minutes to get the drinks (very watery). We ordered right away since we knew they were busy. After 1 hour…yes 1 hour we finally told them that we were leaving. Miraculously one of our dinners arrived (not both), and so we sat down and ate it. It was awful….really really bad….we shared the chicken fajitas and it was dry and flavorless. We have a place here in the desert and tried Las Casuelas again after another bad meal….never again. By the way, our cadillac margaritas cost $17 each! Never again!

I just wanted to let everyoine know how happy we are with the food and service that we got for the party platters that we got from the restaurant.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Portion size was big, and everyone had leftovers. The beans and rice tasted great. The guacamole was a bit plain by itself, but when put on top of other food it was nice. Chips and salsa were great.

We’ve been here many time. In SoCal there’s a great selection of Mexican food and we find ourselves coming back here time and time again. Great chips and salsa to start. Oaxaca burrito is tasty. Everyone we’ve brought here loves it too. Why some folks haven’t had the best experience is beyond me. I’ve been here 10+ times and everyone was good. The live music last night with two flamenco inspired guitar players was a nice touch.
