My husband and I went here for the first time today and we really enjoyed our meal. I had the chicken sandwich and he had the Cuban sandwich. Great quality at a great price! The service was friendly and attentive, definitely a local spot. Would love to go back for breakfast or lunch and try their other dishes.

Food is good, but the billing is misleading. They don’t provide an itemized receipt and verbally give you the total, which already includes an undisclosed 20% gratuity. Auto-gratuity is fine but hiding it without transparency isn’t.

Horrible place, The Servers was so rude and basically overall the worst, when I place an order in English (Mind you I speak in English but understand in Spanish) I had no issue… is when I call back to ask them about my order is when they (RUDE) stated she nor anymore in there spoke English in aggressive manner , I ask if I can once again speak to the person that took my order she called someone over to her and while I’m still on the phone stated I wanna kill her in Spanish, so I ask who she was talking to and stated she didn’t no english basically making it wasn’t nothing was wrong on what was said . When I got there I ask to speak to the person that took my order and also said what was said and there was a man there stated he understood English when explaining to them what was said the Man that was there with them told me I needed to learn how to speak Spanish this is America, said that if I didn’t like his comment about what was said leave from there. One of the servers gave my daughter our order and read my order our loud in English. Smh while telling my I needed to speak Spanish in there establishment. Raciest, Rude, Disrespectful.

Placed an order on the phone for 3 chic sandwiches so I didn’t have to wait. When picked up, The waitress put 3 wimpy steak sandwiches in the bag. Went in to claim that the order was wrong… aught an attitude. Instead of taking accountability for placing the order wrong, Now my order took almost 15 mins more. Try to ignore me when trying to order something else. Never go here again. Stop doing social media hype videos….food don’t even look that way! This use to be my favorite chic sandwich spot. Service sucks,. The presentation of the food is horrible.Quality is horrible. The only good thing there was the guy that told the girls to be more careful. He made my order right.

I went to eat here in -person and they added a 20% tip on my bill without telling me! The 20% was also added to the taxed amount! There was no clear indication on the menu that this was their policy. The menu they give you is on an ipad and I really don’t remember seeing anything about a 20% gratuity being automatically added to your bill. When you’re hungry you’re not scouring the menu for all these details if it was even there to begin with. I know some restaurants have included gratuity on groups but it was only me eating there. This is a ridiculous policy for such a small restaurant.

I always buy from here, but was highly disappointed in the quality of service and the response I received from the owner when explaining my disappoint in recent service.
I ordered sautéed steak, rice and beans. The server was speaking to someone the whole time, as I watched her carelessly place the food in the bag. When I got home 2 mins later, the sauce from the steak and beans was spilled all over in the bag. It was a mess to say the least.
I called and asked for the manager and was passed on to someone- not the manager but acting like him. When I explained that I had been there enough times to know I wasn’t speaking with the manager, I was then told he was unavailable. I then explained I was sitting right next to him while he ate cake and I ordered my food, so he was definitely there. At that point, they actually put the manager on the phone.
I was told by the owner to go back out in the rain to provide proof. I explained that all I wanted was for him to have a conversation as a courtesy to his customers with the worker. While I didn’t know her name, I described her as a middle aged women with rainbow colored braids.
He continued to say that he couldn’t address my concerns unless I came back in..
I explained that if I had to provide proof, it would be through a review as I wasn’t going
back out in the rain. So here it is.
It’s just bad customer service to insinuate that a customer would call and lie about something they only asked you to address with your staff.
SMH. Last time… Truly disappointed in the owners response. Taking up for your staff is one thing, but not valuing your customer is another.

The empanadas at the cash register are always super fresh and packed with flavor! Highly recommend the beef and chicken, but you can’t go wrong with the cheese ones either. The employees and atmosphere are always wonderful. I’m going here more and more because the food overall is just fantastic!!

It’s basically a cafeteria with a bar, the waitresses are nice to the point – just know what you want.
Only reason why the review loses is a star is the “cuban tamale” its not , no meat/pork – it’s basically an elote (corn tamale). It ain’t terrible for an elote but a traditional Mexican restaurant would be the ideal spot for that.
The food is actually good , nowadays outside food especially “cuban” food is trash – nothing like abuela / mama / tia. It will hit the spot!
The croquetas were soft, they could’ve been fried more to get them crispy.
The mondongo was delicious, generous portions of tripe!
Would definitely return, recommend (except the tamale)
