Food was excellent, does not disappoint! Even with my little picky eater, she was impressed. Fish is great and the Agave Wine Margarita was the BEST. If you like Tamarindo drinks, its the perfect ratio of water to those fruit! Love this place.

My recent visit had some definite highs and lows. On the plus side, the beans, rice, and drinks were all really tasty – no complaints there! However, the tamales were a letdown. They were drowning in sauce, and the masa was way too thick. While the meat inside tasted good, there was barely any of it. Also, the table was sticky, which wasn’t the best. I did enjoy the salsa, though; it had a nice kick to it. Overall, the good didn’t outweigh the bad enough for me to want to return.

Sometimes packed for the midday feastings of lunch or late breakfast, Las Anitas is more accessible as the afternoon comes to close but, their hours means an early dinner. The food is as one may expect of anything tourist-centric yet there is no diminishing the taste of little Mexico that is Olvera Street. A full restaurant, Las Anitas seems to have partnered with Cielito Lindo, which is located across the way and is world renowned for their taquitos. Yes, those crispy munchies are good but pale in comparison to another stall two eateries further into Olvera Street. Regardless, Las Anitas has a very tender carne asada, skip the taquitos. chicken Enchiladas are also que bueno!
Bonus for the cost conscientious are the daily happy hour specials such as reduced beer prices or a Kids Eat Free day midweek. Those fortunate to be free at three in the afternoon will usually find easy street parking with a short stroll and an inviting restaurant with ample available tables. Seldom is there any room left in the belly for more eating from other places of Olvera Street but that’s quite alright. Nostalgia may hit hard if you’ve come to Olvera Street in your youth, why not let your taste buds experience the same?

I’m floored by how amazing the vegan options were. Some of the tastiest tacos I’ve had in the area and some of the best mole that my husband has had. The decor was beautiful and the staff were kind. This will definitely a regular watering hole.

So waitress was rude when we arrived. Well went for dinner I got the fajitas beef, chicken, shrimp. It wasnt fajitas rather Chinese version. Very disappointed. Fajitas should be cook in tomatoe sauce not soy sauce. My boyfriend got the olivera combo and wasn’t up to par either. Enchilada was gross the sauce wasn’t that of Enchilada not sure what it was. As for the taco was a ball of meat dry as hell. Tamale was too soggy over all food has become not authentic. Drinks were good Pepsi was very carbonated and the Jamaica good and sweet. I don’t recommend this spot. I will not be returning.

On a recent family trip decided to check out something new, we had been meaning to visit plaza Olvera for a long time, we finally ended up there and during some shopping we stumbled upon this place, a wonderful hole in the wall if you will. Great service, delicious food and a great overall experience. I highly recommend.

First time here. Very good food. Staff is very friendly and check on you often. We enjoyed the ambiance. Asada fries are so good and stand out with using seasoned waffle fries (I highly recommend getting double asada on the fries). I had the fish tacos and loved them. If you like the spice, they have a great chipotle ranch sauce that you can put on the fries or tacos. I highly recommend this spot. I will definitely be back.
