I walked in 40 minutes before close and you would think I walked in 5 mins before close with the attitudes I was met with. The teenager checking me out rolled her eyes after the first order I took (when she realized I wanted more than one sub) ( I got 3 btw) I still chose to tip $10 cash. After that, the same teenager with her AirPods in slammed the mop bucket making me feel super unwelcomed. I also received a sandwhich missing banana peppers and it wasn’t cut? That’s not a huge deal. My biggest concern is how I was treated. I have worked in fast food and would never treat someone this way..guess I’m sticking to firehouse ♀️

After 2 years of trying different Florida sandwich places, Larry’s in Palatka still takes the #1 spot for quality, freshness, customer service, and best bang for your buck. My husband ordered his usual (unusual) turkey & tuna custom sub and he says it tasted great; just what he was looking for.
Sandwich shops are a hit n’ miss, so I didn’t know what to expect. I saw a good Google rating and hoped for the best! Don’t let the humble storefront fool you – this sammie place is a hidden gem ✨️
The service was friendly, pickles and ingredients were fresh, and it wasn’t too pricey ($12.50 for a footlong sub) for our order.
I had the New Yorker with onions, mayo, and mustard. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak. The photos don’t do the sandwich any justice, but everything tasted clean, fresh, and well-made. I recommend this shop for a fast, satisfying sandwich lunch at an affordable price.

I have come here numerous times and it’s always been very good. They have a large selection of sandwiches and i like to try different things. Got the Destroyer this time and it was excellent. Was made perfectly as ordered and the cashier was friendly and thorough. Will def be back soon

Had the veggie sub… very fresh! My daughter had an Italian sub, she liked it too. First time at Larry’s Giant subs, seems like the bulk of the locations are in the Jacksonville area. Not bad for a Franchise sub place! I would try them again if I come across one in my travels.
