Larry’s is the absolute BEST! The food is delicious and you can tell with every bite that love and care was one of the main ingredients. Holly, one of the owners, is so loving, nurturing and feels like everyone’s long lost Aunt. She is a treasure. She will ensure that your visit is top notch.
I would go back to Topsail just to visit Larry’s. Their burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Let’s not talk about the homemade lemonade and made from scratch desserts. Spectacular to say the least!

This is a hidden jewel to anyone that is not on the island! The make homemade ice cream (36 flavors), cookies, cakes and the Hershey chocolate cake is sinfully good. I also had the chopped brisket sandwich (delicious). The staff and owners were so nice and friendly. The band I sing with (Carl Newton’s Review) were playing at their restaurant this past Sunday. I ordered a Rueben sandwich to take home and it was delicious. This place is a must stop when you come to Topsail beach. I took a picture with one of the owners.

I didn’t really know what to expect when we opened the door, but my friend and I were greeted by the sweetest waitress ❤️ she was so helpful with the menu and giving recommendations. I tried the pulled pork grilled cheese and it was incredible! Literally didn’t need any extra sauce because the pork was cooked so well!! Also had fried okra as an appetizer and the sauce was chef’s kiss! Seriously, this was the best meal after a day at the beach!! We got to meet Mrs. Holly and she was so sweet!! Treated my friend and I to her delicious homemade ice cream for our birthdays!! This place is a gem!! Check it out if you’re ever in town!!

Larry’s is a charming place with an even more charming staff. I visited in the off season, and it was busy, so I would imagine that on season, it could get quite hectic.
The food I had was your typical local “hole-in-the wall” deli type food, but was definitely elevated by the love of the craft of cooking and care and attention to detail. I cannot wait to enjoy the BBQ that initially brought the location to my attention.
The next time I visit Wilmington, will I make the 40 minute drive to Larry’s? Absolutely. It immediately slotted into a comfort food and comfort atmosphere slot in my heart.
Maybe it will yours too, if you’re close by!

Good location, ready parking, good waitress and service. Atmosphere is ok, small family business with a bar and an outdoor sitting area. Food was just ok for a $23 + 20 % tip lunch meal ( Philly, fries, soft drinks k )..so , would i come back again or recommend for other’s !! Will see..

Loved the Holiday Spritz Cocktail! I had the pulled pork sandwich and it had a lot of meat on it but no sides that come with it. Nice smoker flavor and well prepared. Husband order the Reuben and side of onion rings. All very good. Onion rings are very crisp and onions tender.

This side of the island needs a place like this for families. Fried pickles are fantastic, burgers taste like a cookout and get the tater tots over the fries. Fairly expensive but what do you expect, I’m sure the rent is outrageous. The ice cream shop has the best chocolate waffle cone I’ve ever had, they make them in shop and the whole place smells like hot fudge.

Popular local deli at Topsail Beach. I had the smoked brisket sandwich (strong smoky flavor) and it was some moist brisket and then I got a side of onion rings. There were large onion rings so you got a little bit less but they were delicious had a nice remoulade sauce for dipping. Gabby was an excellent server as was the other people that assisted her. We didn’t want for anything. Not not a critique but they do not Fry things light so if you want real light tater tots or real light onion rings they don’t do that but what they do do is delicious food.

If you enjoy authentic slow smoked beef brisket Larry’s is your place. The brisket is very high quality and smoked to perfection. Add a side of fried okra and a beer and you’ll have one of Topsail Beach’s best meals. I’ve had several brisket sandwiches in addition to buying it by the pound to share with friends. If is consistently wonderful. Larry’s provides Topsail Beach with an outstanding variety of food. If you like brisket you will love Larry’s.

This place is absolutely amazing. It is the true definition of a mom and pop restaurant. They pay so much attention to not only the quality of the food that they produce but also the appearance of the food that comes to your table.The staff is superbly attentive and super friendly. This place has an inside dining plus a front patio as well as an in-house ice cream parlor that has 21 or over ice cream. All in all I 100% recommend this place to anybody willing to take the trip to the north side of Topsail Island to come and spend the day at the beach and have a nice homemade meal.
