Service: …
The Larosa’s company, as a whole, is still consistently in our top 4 favorite pizza places.
But over the last 5-10yrs, weekly visits have dwindled to monthly visits mostly due to a decline in taste, some undercooking issues (not at this location as of yet) & a few other random issues that have led to no longer justifying the continuation of, & even increasing in some aspects, typical Larosa’s elitist ego pricing & their sparse coupon or deal offerings. And I’m still not sure exactly what the “rewards” program is or offers cause barely ever even get e-mails about decent promotions & have no point redemption options or credits ever.
To be fair, some issues like the increasingly frustrating instances of undercooked food & conveniently missing paid add-ons (extra cheese, sauces etc.) from way too many restaurants is about to become a pandemic itself. Like how is it that the cooking time for the same item that’s been sold for decades has somehow changed so drastically that it’s hard to avoid under- or overcooking it? Take note on those limp fries McDonald’s.
While some haven’t noticed a drastic change in the taste of the pizza sauce, I feel it has declined sometime in the past few years. And we consistently pay for extra sauce cups that we never end up getting but who’s going to waste 10 minutes each time just to get $1 back?
Hopefully, some constructive criticism now will make it more likely that we’ll still be eating Larosa’s for a long time to come.
