LaRosa’s has served Independence for decades, but this location is a relatively recent addition to all the exciting things happening in our part of town. We got their focaccia meat pizza, bbq chicken bacon pizza and house chips. It was all amazing. The waitress was great as well. It came quickly and was hot and fresh. We went for an early dinner so the atmosphere was calm quite and family friendly witch is great for us with two kids.

Order from here every few weeks or so. My only complaint is that WHEN WE ORDER DOUBLE SAUCE PUT DOUBLE SAUCE. I WANT IT MESSY WITH TOO MUCH SAUCE. This larosas always shorts you on double sauce it more of a 1.25x sauce. It’s worth the extra drive to Taylor mill trifecta for actual DOUBLE SAUCE.

Figured we hadn’t been here for a while and with the projects we have going on we’d give it another try. Just being honest, the food was awful. Not sure what oil is used on the pan pizza but all I taste is burnt oil which is surprising because you’d expect a pan pizza to have a crisp crust but this doesn’t. Just soft and soggy. The pepperoni was under the cheese.
What psychopath wants pepperoni under the cheese? Seems to be an Independence thing as Donatos has done the same thing twice in the past and it doesn’t taste as good.

I ordered two salads with my meals. The delivery driver apologized when I opened the door stating he had forgot the salads at the store and someone would be behind him to deliver them. 10 minutes later my salads were delivered and both dogs got treats from the pocket of the gentleman delivering them.

Ordered a takeout order and was missing an order of garlic bread. Went back inside and was able to get it. But when I got back home, opened up my baked onion soup to find no cheese on top. Pretty disappointing.
