I ordered a cheese pizza on 2/21/26. I received a pepperoni pizza instead. Because Larosas puts there pepperoni under their cheese I was unable to tell that the pizza had pepperoni on it until halfway through eating the first slice.
Pork makes me violently ill. Vomiting, Diarrhea, extreme loss of fluids and GI issues. I had a comedy show reservation and dinner reservation for late tonight that I will now miss because I am scared to become violently ill once the pork begins to digest.
I called Larosas to inform them of this and the supervisor said she needed to reach out to the manager to document it. Once she came back on the line she said the manager was going to give me a credit. And that IF I did become ill to call back so that could document it. I advised that my child still needed to eat which is why the pizza was purchased in the first place. Once I mentioned this to the supervisor she called back over to the manager and the resolution was simply to resend the pizza and give a credit. There was no explanation of the process or formal number or form if I became sick just to call back in on my death bed I suppose. Giving a credit is normal procedure when an order is wrong. However, due to the health risk I assumed there a better process and documentation and resolution. So I asked to speak to the manager myself. When she did get on the phone she was short and seems like she was irritated that she had to take the call and essentially said on the line as if she didnt know what I was calling for. She restated that they were resending a pizza and giving a credit. I asked her why her attitude was so cavalier considering they put an unauthorized item on my food they makes me ill and that if it was an item that caused an anaphylaxis reaction was I still just supposed to take the remake or credit? Her attitude was disturbing and disgusting considering you are causing a potential health risk to someone.

LaRosa’s has always been one of my favorite restaurants growing up in Cincinnati. I had missed it since my move to Dayton a few years ago. Last weekend, I drove down and met my mom and daughter in Colerain to do some Christmas shopping. We decided to have lunch here and I was thrilled about it cuz I had seriously been craving their chicken, bacon & Montgomery Inn bbq sauce pizza & their cheesecake balls! When I left the restaurant, I was so disappointed. I really didn’t care for the “commercialized” look and feel of the dining room, if that makes sense. It used to feel cozy and warm with the thick, wooden booths, dimmer lighting, sports memorabilia plastering the walls and always full of family chatter. The dining room here is closed off from the lobby by a door and thats exactly what it felt like, closed off and too quiet. My pizza was a little overdone and I could barely taste the sauce, which was the best part, to me. The cheesecake balls were good but a little smaller than I remember. Way too small for the price. Our server and the staff behind the counter, were nice.

I have never had a bad pizza from any LaRosa’s… until now. Let me preface this by saying that I don’t blame the servers at all because they did put it in correctly per the receipt. I asked for extra sauce, light cheese as I always do. As you can see per the pics, edges have plenty of sauce, but barely any on the middle. Also, way too much cheese. The servers did ask if I wanted it redone, but after the wait, I opted to decline. They did bring a bowl of sauce to dip over cheesed & dry slices in, but it didn’t help. First time I have ever been disappointed. Again, not the fault of the servers who did offer to make it right & took a little off the bill, which I do appreciate. Lastly, the new dining room looks great and very modern. We will give this location another shot down the line.

The server might have been the best part. The chips were burned and there was so much salt, couldn’t even eat them. The salad was brown and terrible, only ate half. It’s usually my favorite part. ;(
The vegetables on top were ok.

This review is long overdue. I wouldn’t recommend eating at this restaurant, after 8PM. I went in one night, with my mother for a pick up order. I ordered a calzone , which I haven’t tried in a while so I was excited for my meal to come. Once we picked up the food and headed home, we pull out all the food and it doesn’t look like our normal order but still, we are hungry so we proceed to eat it. I ate one side of my calzone and I instantly felt off. I couldn’t enjoy it, so I decided to throw it away. After that, 30 minutes goes by my stomach start feeling off, mouth got salty and I kept spitting until I eventually threw up. I was sick all night and the next day due to LaRosa giving me food poisoning. I threw up 8 times, all because they didn’t fully cook the food all the way. PS; My mom was always sick and throwing up from their food. That type of service at any establishment is UNACCEPTABLE. 0/10 HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND

I typically get carry out and the last few times its been very horrible. The large pizzas look like mediums. And when did circle pizzas become ovals. And dont get me started on the small blonde hair i found while eating And they have been cold like they was sitting awhile and i always come in on time for pick up. I know its not your food but come on show some care for others.

The food was ok tonight. I got the grilled chicken hoagie that was low cal but good. The service was ok. The server forgot about my refill and it took some time to find him to get my refill. I probably avoid this time of day again and day and go during the lunch shift with a better server hopefully.

I just paid $24 plus a $3 tip for a large pizza with pepperoni on one half and sausage on the other. No sauce on the pizza as picture shows and no pepperoni only cheese on one half. So much for paying high prices because you like there sauce only to throw almost $30 in away for a pizza with no toppings on one side and no sauce on it. What a joke

This is a very clean, remodeled LaRosas with tall gray booths seating 6 and attractive wood-like flooring.Two of us ordered a BLT sandwich, small mushroom + cheese pizza and soft drinks. Our food was tasty and we would revisit.

We did not have a way to get a table. Waitress with our table very quick and took our drink order. Food arrived within about 10 minutes and was hot. Service was good. Waitress kept checking on us. Pleasant experience.
