The food is great! Service is always friendly and knowledgeable and in a good mood. That says a lot about how things are run, if the employees are happy to be at work. I have eaten here a number of times and I will definitely continue to do so.

Ok this was quite possibly the worst mexican food I have had. The food looked good and portions were generous but just tasted off. I am not saying it was bad quality it was just bad tasting. Salsa and chips were good though.

The restaurant looks really nice to eat at. I had an online pick up order. Great looking atmosphere and decorated nicely. The gentleman that got my order was really friendly.
I had the Burritos De La Roqueta. The carnitas were overpowered by the green peppers and onions – there were a lot and I pulled most of them to the side. The creamy Verde sauce was amazing!
The queso dip was really good but the salsa was kinda thin – but still with good flavor.
I would definitely order again for takeout but I would order something different next time.
If on this side of town, I’ll stop in with my wife and try dinner in house.

BEST CHIPS & SALSA in the Madison area!
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is fantastic- a spacious dining space, beautifully decorated, with a viewable kitchen area and a full service bar area with televisions that’s neatly separated from the dining area.
The service was consistent and our server made sure our chips and salsa never ran- gold star
They have a great menu that isn’t too overwhelming but has a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes as well as plenty of vegtarian options as well.
We ordered the Burrito de la Roqueta and the Quesadilla Texana and both dishes were fantastic. The seasoning and flavors were everything I wanted in a Mexican meal. The portions were well balanced with the price.
We had a great experience here and we will be sure to visit again!

The Thursday night I went to Laredo’s it was not busy, for once. The wait staff were prompt, friendly, helpful and attentive. The restraint itself was clean and the tables were gleaming. I highly recommend the food at Laredo’s. Everything is delicious. However where they shine is most clearly with their sauces and dips. Everything is so fresh, spiced perfectly, and blended just right. We ordered a fish of guacamole, as an example. Our waiter went and created it from scratch. All of the sauces tasted as though they had just been made. All of the food looked and tasted fresh.
When you sit down, in addition to your beverage, they bring you a basket of freshly made tortilla chips and fresh salsa. It’s a difficult task not to fill up on these alone!
I had made a mistake in my order and forgot to mention an allergy. When the wait staff heard me mention it, he apologized even though it was not his error, and whisked my dish away only to return in a flash with a brand new plate with fresh food upon it, error corrected.
Before leaving, I ordered a burrito to go. When it was brought, in addition to the dish, there was also a bag of their freshly made chips and a container of thirty delicious salsa.
All of these little touches are what make Laredo’s a favorite of mine. My only regret is that I’m unable to go there more frequently.

This is the 2nd Laredo’s mexican restaurant we tried in WI. The food is consistently good, has the option to customize the order. Food was served quickly. We’ll surely be there soon !

Service has always been exceptional. Food is consistently fresh; Unlimited (FREE) chips and homemade salsa, BEST burritos this side of town, and the fried ice cream is highly recommended for dessert. Beer is always ice cold. Margaritas are a bit pricey, however, Happy Hour is always an option!

Everything is very overpriced. Service is very poor. Inattentive and poor manners. Order an expensive plate of fajitas, don’t give you enough tortillas and then charge you even more for extras.
