Meticulous Stressor
Waited 30 minutes until it opened because we saw the reviews and were excited to eat there. Nowhere was it posted that they were fully booked with reservations. We entered the restaurant— which had a cigarette scent despite being advertised as smoke-free— and were yelled at by a very very rude staff member and thrown out without any attempts to check if any reservations were later in the evening or if any cancelled. I understand being reserved, but there are other ways to say it instead of how rudely she acted. She really spoiled our evening and appetite for no reason. A real shame based on how friendly the reviews say the staff are— we certainly didn’t see it.

If you like entrecote do not go to this restaurant. Maybe the chef had a bad night but for some reason I do not think so. Hardly touched the so called ”medium” entrecote. The waitress did not ask how the food was, I guess she new the answer! Maybe the rest on the menu was good but this was a disaster to say the least.

The food was not bad, but beware! We were 5 people and we ordered 4 dishes to share. When we paid the bill, they made us pay 10€ more for not having ordered one dish per person. It’s a robbery!!! On the menu it said that you were charged 10€ for the person who didn’t eat, but in our case we all ate! 5 people share 4 dishes and they make us pay 10€ more. It makes no sense whatsoever this robbery. If the 5 of us we order 4 dishes of 30€ each we’re anyway paying more for sharing these dishes than if the 5 of us would have ordered 5 individual dishes of 10€. There are many good places in town with very similar dishes. If you don’t want to be robbed of 10€ for not eating, go to another restaurant (but double check in case this non-sense policy is a common thing in this village…). Never seen something like this before. To me this is the opposite to hospitality

A great hidden gem! More German than French food and excellent. You need to go down into the cellar for dinner and it is worth every step.
