Honestly wasn’t super impressed with the ice cream here. It’s refreshing and they have some interesting sorbet flavors but just was okay in my books. Also for the price, a single scoop was pretty small. I much preferred the experience and taste of Pink’s ice cream over in town.

Located in the plaza next to a super market. Super crowded. The timings mentioned in google are different as it was open past 8pm in December. They ran out of waffle cones which I wanted. The ice cream tastes good. We tried vanilla madadamia nut which was great.. it was an acquired taste.. if you like the nut then this will be good for you.. but it gave a oily taste at the end. The other one was Kauai pie – too dark for my liking.

We got a 2-scoop waffle cone ice cream. The Mini Peanut Butter and Fudge was good. The coffee flavored one was really weak, so I would recommend trying something else.

I wanted to love this spot, and returned three times in hopes that it would deliver on the hype. I was very underwhelmed on 2/3 occasions. The scooped ice cream had a soft serve texture (not sure if the freezer was cold enough) and twice the cone was soggy. The employee (different each time) always seemed unhappy to be there. I hope my experience was a fluke!

Lappert’s Hawaii is the real deal! Delicious ice cream in many wonderful flavors not commonly available on the mainland featuring coconut, macadamia nuts, white chocolate, pineapple, and other delicious varieties.

Store closes well before 6pm. Photo taken at 5:53. Only wanted a coffee. Please update hours as very disheartening to rush here, make it before 6, find it closed, and knock as worker inside ignores you

This particular store is typically understaffed (only 1 person works at a time) and low in inventory. They were out of more than half the flavors of ice cream and wouldn’t get another delivery for a couple more days. They even close for lunch by putting a post-it note on the door that says “lunch”. Lots of people waited for a while then left because no one knew how long they’ll be closed for – when lunch began and how long it will last. I don’t blame the worker as she was doing the best she could. Lappert’s needs to do better for their customers and especially their employees.

This is the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time, but sadly accompanied by the worst service. The staff seems like you owe them for the privilege of serving you. Beyond unfriendly. Two scoops are priced at about $9.00 and the server rolled hollow scoops, which boiled down to about one full scoop in a tiny cup. I vowed never to go back and now get my ice cream at Foodland next door.
