Ice cream was good, nothing amazing. The store smelled delicious. Had the Kauai Java in a cup and the Kona Coffee/Macadamia Nut in a waffle cone. The service was subpar, not welcoming. Would definitely try another location before returning.

We got waffle bowl with two flavors and icecream was good but nothing standing out. The waffle was really thin and crispy, which went really well with the icecream but icecream cream itself was not good enough for a reason to visit. I’d stop by if nearby but not to a point where we’d come to eat

We’ve been enjoying Lapperts for over 20 years. Sadly, we can no longer enjoy the dairy side of it but the sorbet is delicious and delightfully chunky. Options change daily besides some thst have been favorites for years.

The person working there today was very rude. We felt like we were bothering her by entering the shop. She then didn’t add most of the toppings for our sundae. Missing macadamia nuts and waffle fan. Gave us the end of the whip cream can so it wasn’t whipped at all. It was very disappointing compared to the other location.

Good place to stop for a delicious ice cream. The service is nice and friendly, patient to let you try the different flavors. The Kona coffee ice cream was very good!

The ice is very good…. when it’s open! They open when they’re good and ready, and close down in the middle of the day when they feel like it. They were open 1:30 on a Sunday, but by the time we parked the car they were closed with a “Be Back Soon” sign on the door. 30 minutes later no idea if they are open to open or not.

The ice cream was quite nice, but I chose a cone with one scoop. For just shy of $10, the scoop was small, so much so that it disappeared half way down the cone and didn’t sit roundly on the top. The woman wasn’t particularly helpful or talkative, she just stood pretty disinterested until I’d made a choice. It’s simply not worth the money. Imagine a family of 5 getting little change of $50 for a single scoop in a cone. Save your money and drive down to Hanalei, where it’s nicer, cheaper and more friendly.

Lappert’s Hawaii is the real deal! Delicious ice cream in many wonderful flavors not commonly available on the mainland featuring coconut, macadamia nuts, white chocolate, pineapple, and other delicious varieties.
My favorite is to get the ice cream in one of the many varieties of chocolate dipped waffle cones. Two scoops so I can get two flavors.
Nothing is more refreshing on a humid hot day than a couple of scoops of ice cream in a chocolate cone!

Located in the plaza next to a super market. Super crowded. The timings mentioned in google are different as it was open past 8pm in December. They ran out of waffle cones which I wanted. The ice cream tastes good. We tried vanilla madadamia nut which was great.. it was an acquired taste.. if you like the nut then this will be good for you.. but it gave a oily taste at the end. The other one was Kauai pie – too dark for my liking.
