So nice to come back to visit my hometown and enjoy a meal here. The portions are large! And they even take special requests like a double grilled cheese. The Greek salad could feed 5.

This place is great! They have a full menu that would compete with a large diner, all kinds of coffee drinks, and a unique atmosphere. The staff are friendly and it’s a very down-to-earth, personal vibe. I would highly recommend this place over Starbucks or a run-of-the-mill pizzeria. Tables for eat-in service, and ample on-street parking.

I was very impressed with the service! Truly excellent and very friendly. The food was pretty good. It’s what you would expect of a regular breakfast, lunch type of place. It’s a very casual vibe, nothing fancy.

Delicious food, excellent service! As you can see in the photo, the penne alfredo has real garlic in the sauce, the mozzarella sticks are fried to a perfect crisp and the pizza had a nice crisp crust too!
more than the delicious food, the owner Y, is a real mentch- he stayed open late to cook a meal for myself and four kids when we were ‘stranded’ at the philly airport overnight ( our connectingflight home was canceled). he made sure we had bagels for breakfast and sufficient paper goods to serve the food with. all this done with kindness and humor. thank you!

Me and my kids are visiting Philly for the first time so we were looking for Kosher options so we came to Espresso cafe for the first time and even though from the outside, it does not look like a very nice place I can tell you that the food is amazing. Better than any other kosher restaurants by far!!! Service is good and Yoram was great and took really great care of us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend this place. Food soooooo fresh and good. Waiter was so kind and sweet. Extremely patient and helpful. Truly such an amazing experience. The variety of snacks and drinks were amazing, got to experience Israeli chocolate. I recommend the Greek salad with croutons and onions Will definitely come back my next visit in Philly!!!

The food here is absolutely incredible, the penne vodka is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond with their service. They offered to stay late in order to allow me to finish my meal. The atmosphere is very welcoming, I will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone.
