Great brunch. The food is delicious. Huge servings at great prices. I split the biscuits and gravy and still had more than I could eat. The gravy was spicy and flavorful. And the build your own bloody Mary was delicious and fun. I can’t wait to return for brunch again.

Cannot say enough good about this great spot. Bartenders are artists, every dish I’ve ordered has been outstanding, owners are very personable and dedicated to their customers and craft. Easily in my top five triangle area restaurants. Make the drive and go here. Start with brunch or a late evening food and drinks adventure, you will enjoy.

Sunday Brunch was amazing(10am-3pm). Friendly staff and COOL Bartender. The food was great. The two entrees featured was the Cat Fish and Grits w/Grilled Shrimp added and The Meat Bol. And, if you are a Bloody Mary fan, you are in for a treat. Be prepared to wait a little while because, the place gets packed. Great experience and worth the wait. Eats, Tunes and Travels strikes again!!!

My in-laws took me here for my birthday recently.
Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cool. We shared the chef’s table, which gave a good sampling of the menu.
I got the blacked catfish poboy with fries, which were amazing.
They have daily specials and a good beer selection. I’ll have to go back between Tuesday and Thursday to try the fried chicken.
A must visit if you’re in Hillsborough.

Holy Hillsborough, can I give more than five stars?! This place is amazing, not overcrowded and serves a truly perfect poached egg. The service, the bloody Mary (custom made), the Mimosa, and the atmosphere are all incredible. And let’s not forget Beignets that will make your day (get the blueberry sauce, it’s worth it).

The fried calamari is the best I have ever eaten. It is topped with a quick pickled slaw and drizzled with a spicy thai peanut sauce. The po’ boys were good. The gumbo was a little to smoky for me and my wife. Serving size did not disappoint. They took and old main street pharmacy and made an awesome restaurant.

I am always so pleased to go to La Place. I’d eat every item on the menu if I could. The food is delicious. The staff is nice. This place gets busy, so if you prefer less hustle and bustle, go before or after peak times.
My favorite place to get some spice. ️

That was the most satisfying meal ever! I had the Acadian sampler (gumbo, jambalaya balls, maque choux)– everything was delicious. I also had oysters and the scallop appetizer. For desert, the coca- cola cake. I’ll definitely be back here! Highly recommend.

Wow, I confess to being skeptical of a place offering cajun in Hillsborough, but Laplace really delivers! We tried about 1/3 of the entire brunch menu and it was all delicious. I particularly loved the biscuits and gravy but the beignets were a pretty close second! Make sure to arrive early, especially if you want a table outside, as Laplace fills up quickly.
