Always a great meal. Not just great, amazing. Best steak I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. Camembert appetizer can’t be missed. Great management and service. We had a minor incident (seated and waited a little while for a waiter) but they made up for it and then some. Well worth the wait.

We had a fantastic first experience today. Every detail of the food and ambience was perfect. Great Pate Maison. Delicious Coq Au Van Blanc. The waiter was very attentive and we got to sit outside across from a park. Manifique!

What a great atmosphere and delicious food! The wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Chef Greg and his wife also took some time to chat with their guests. The food was perfectly presented and the flavors were phenomenal. We had the Escargot and Steak Tartare to start with, as well as the Lobster Bisque. All delicious, not to mention that the bisque had HUGE chunks of lobster in it! For the main fare, we had the Steak Frites and Duck Breast, both delectable! We topped off our meal with the Frozen Chocolate Espresso Souffle. The perfect end to our culinary experience. 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back!

We visited Laperaux for the first time today! The food was very good and beautifully presented. I ordered the Coquille St. Jaques Scallops. It came over a bed of mashed potatoes and side of lemon and green beans. The scallops texture was unfamiliar to me as I guess I overcook them when I prepare them myself. When I told my server, she immediately offered to have a new dish of scallops made and cooked a bit longer. Everyone was so nice and the customer service was amazing! Food was also excellent.

Fantastic! The onion soup and pate appetizers were great. My wife had the mussels, which were very large, and had a delicious sauce base. Are you at the popular steak and frites and it was completely amazing.

We went here about two weeks ago and there were some good and some disappointing dishes. We started off with the lobster bisque and it was only ok. Looking at previous reviews, it seemed like there used to be chunks of lobster in the soup, but recently there isn’t anymore unfortunately. The soup was slightly under seasoned but was just an alright start to our dinner.

Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing the newest addition to Germantown’s culinary scene, Laperaux Bistro, which opened its doors just a month ago. This restaurant prides itself on serving dishes that have remained unchanged for over 150 years, providing diners with a taste of history. The cocktails served here are also expertly crafted, offering a perfect complement to the scrumptious food.

We just checked this place out. the customer service It was really nice. You were greeted when you walked in which is wonderful. The decor is really nice we went around lunch time. We tried the onion soup, and the lobster bisque to start. The onion soup was okay but the lobster bisque was not our favorite I just didn’t get any pieces of lobster. Next we had the steak frites, and the Breaded Veal Scaloppine both were incredible! I just needed a little sprinkle of salt and pepper it was perfection after. I can’t wait to get more steak frites the green sauce was delicious. I loved the bread and honey butter that came with the meal as well. I also love the glasses that soda was served in. A welcomed addition to the neighborhood.

Great experience! This Bistro has only been open a couple of weeks, but already seems to be really popular. Reservations recommended to avoid disappointment.
